Chapter Twenty-Seven

JOES POV

We walked into the hotel room, Chloe still in my arms. She said she could walk but I didn't want to take any chances. I laid Chloe down on my bed, while she got comfortable I took off my shoes and jacket. I laid down next to her and pulled her closer to me.

She snuggled into my chest and I draped my arm over her back, "your the best" she mumbled into my shirt. I looked at at her, she had her eyes closed and her little hand resting on the mattress beside me. I couldn't help but smile, how is it that even with all this drama the only thing I've managed to do I fall harder for her.

"try not to fall asleep yet, you just hit your head remember" I said running my hands through her hair in a soothing manner, "then you have to stop doing this" she laughed and grabbed my hand to stop my fingers running through her hair. "right" I replied.

"hey where did Oli and Caspar go?" she asked, "I don't actually know, hold on let me call them" I replied. I reached for my phone, unlocked it and then opened Caspar's contact profile. 

-PHONE CALL BETWEEN CASPAR AND JOE-

C- hello 

J- hey cas, where are you guys?

C- we're just down stairs, thought you and Chloe needed some time alone

J- oh okay cheers man

C- no worries, so you want to tell me what actually happened back there?

J- um, I'll tell you when you come back up 

C- alright

J- okay well see you soon then 

C- see ya

-END OF PHONE CALL-

"they're down stairs" I said to Chloe who was now very close to being asleep, "Chloe, wake up, no sleeping remember" I said poking her arm, she groaned "why, I just want to sleep" she complained, her voice barely audible. "I feel fine" she added. "okay then, goodnight princess" I said giving in, she smiled and a blush rose to her cheeks but her eyes stayed shut. "goodnight" she whispered, I ran my fingers through her hair again and she cuddled into my chest tighter. She's so cute.

After I knew she was asleep I used my other hand to grab my phone again, I unlocked it and started scrolling through twitter, it was aimless until I found a photo that was posted at around the time that we were coming back from the restaurant. It was of me carrying Chloe out of the restaurant, the caption was 

'WHO IS JOE CARRYING AND WHY, this stupid bitch probably was just trying to get Joe's attention!' 

oh no.

I scrolled through the comments, similar things were said. 

'what is he doing with her'

'if i was him i'd drop her and run, she's so ugly' 

there were occasional nice comments like

'everyone needs to calm down, joe has a life you know, so what if he's carrying someone. just because it's not you doesn't mean you need to be so judgemental' 

I favourited that one in particular, what was I going to do? They are already hating on her and they've only seen one photo of her. I just wish they didn't judge everyone so quickly, don't get me wrong I love all my fans but they aren't going to take the news easily.

As I continued to scroll through the comments Zoe's caller ID popped up, I answered her call

-PHONE CALL BETWEEN ZOE AND JOE-

J-hey zo

Z- what's going on, what's this picture about

J- oh yeah I didn't tell you

Z- tell me what

J- I have a girlfriend, surprise 

Z- oh my god! what? you got a girlfriend joe wow I can't wait to meet her, is she nice? what colour eyes does she have? what's her name? Is she Australian? 

J- zoe calm down, it's not like I haven't had a girl friend before, well okay none like this. yes she's nice, she amazing, she has bluish eyes, her name is Chloe and yes she is Australian and she's coming back to the UK with us so you can meet her then 

Z- I'm so happy for you! So she's the girl in the photo

J- yeah, um her ex is kind of crazy. He actually punched me the first time we met, hahaha 

Z- what, are you alright? wow, a lot has happened where was my update 

J- yeah I'm alright, Chloe kept apologising, even though it wasn't her fault at all

Z- aw she sounds so sweet, tell me more

J- uh, where do I start, she's one of the most amazing people I've ever met. She's beautiful, she's an athlete, she small and short and cute and I really really like her

Z- awwwww that's so cute, so what was happening in the photo?

J- um you know how I said her ex is crazy?

Z- yeah?

J- well we went out to a restaurant tonight, all of us Caspar, Oli, Chloe and I and her ex was there and she was I guess waiting for me to stop vlogging and he came up to her, he tried to take her so she called out for me, I ran over and then he stopped, she begged him to put her down and at first he wouldn't but then when she asked again he just dropped her, from quite a height as well she hit her head and so I insited on carrying her instead of her walking and I guess a fan took a picture or something

Z- woah, is she okay now?

J- yeah she's asleep now

Z- uh is that a good idea, I thought you weren't meant to go to sleep after hitting your head

J- well she was awake for a good amount of time after and she said she felt okay so I figure she's alright

Z- well okay, I have to go now, but it was good catching up again and if she finds out about the comments just tell her not to worry and when they find out who she really is they'll love her. oh and tell Oli and Caspar I said hi and I miss them 

J- will do, bye zo

Z- bye brother
