Chapter Twenty-Five

CHLOES POV  

Joe and I are still just chilling in his hotel room, it's quite nice actually but we haven't moved in about an hour, oops. He's just resting his back on the bed head whilst running his fingers through my hair, with me laying my head in his lap playing with his fingers. 

"I should book my flights, what day are you guys leaving?" I asked Joe, it seemed to snap him out of what clearly was a deep thought. "uh what?" he replied, I laughed a little at his reaction. "what day are you guys leaving so I can book my flight for the same day" I asked again, "oh, I don't know CASPARR!" called out, 

"YEAHH" Caspar called back from the room next door where he was editing the video he just filmed. 

"WHAT DAY ARE WE LEAVING" Joe replied

"UM NEXT WEDNESDAY" Caspar said answered

"THANKS" Joe replied 

and that was the end of the yell to deafen Chloe conversation. "next Wednesday" Joe turned towards me and said. "I heard" I replied sarcastically. Joe laughed it off and went back to his thoughts.

 "what are you thinking about?" I asked reaching up and poking his cheek. 

"oh, you know work and you, thats pretty much it" he said, I blushed a little.

"smooth" I said trying to act like I wasn't as red as a tomato, "Chloe your blushing" he laughed, "am not!" I retaliated, "it's okay, it's cute" he said pinching my cheeks like a grandma. I sat up earning a groan from Joe, "why did you get up?" he winged, "I have a flight to book" I said with a smile. 

...

I'm now back home, Joe and I got a taxi back but he just came to drop me off. I'm sitting on my couch booking a flight for Wednesday, and I am so excited. It's been my dream since I was like 11 to go to England and now I'm actually going, like it's booked. I'm mentally screaming but I'm to tired to actually scream. 

Once the flight was booked and paid for I went upstairs to my room to sleep, because I needed sleep, like really though, I could feel my under eye bags hanging off my face. ew.

As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light. 

...

I woke up from my slumber about 5 hours later, feeling much more refreshed. I picked up my phone and unlocked it. I had four messages from Cameron and one from Joe.

From Cameron: I'm sorry

From Cameron: please forgive me

From Cameron: Are you okay? Are you still in hospital? 

From Cameron: Call me when they let you out, please I'm worried about you :(

I decided to call him.

-PHONE CALL BETWEEN CAMERON AND CHLOE-

Cameron- Oh my god Chloe are you okay? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, well I did but is Joe still mad at y-

Chloe- woahhh, calm down i'm okay they let me out a little while ago, I was tired and just fell asleep sorry I didn't call or text

Cameron- okay thats good, did they say what happened?

Chloe- nah they made appointments and stuff though

Cameron- okay and joe? is he still mad

Chloe- surprisingly no

Cameron- but I'm guessing Tanya is?

Chloe- I haven't talked to her, have you?

Cameron- I've tried

Chloe- I might try and call her

Cameron- okay well, i'm glad your alright and tell Joe I'm sorry

Chloe- ah maybe I don't know how that would play out

Cameron- oh yeah I guess your right 

Chloe- okay well bye

Cameron- bye

-END OF PHONE CALL-

I hung up the phone and checked Joe's text

From 'bae'- Hey, you up for dinner out tonight? with Caspar and Oli xxx

To 'bae'- yeah sounds good what time and where? xo

I have to call Tanya now, ohhh goddd here we go

I clicked on her contact and rung the number, I didn't think she would answer but to my surprise it went straight through

-PHONE CALL BETWEEN CHLOE AND TANYA-

T- oh hey if it isn't the girl who dated my boyfriend, didn't bother to tell me said it didn't happen and then kissed him 

T- well my ex boyfriend

C- Tan, I-

T- what Chloe? your sorry? is that it? 

-END OF PHONE CALL-

She hung up, no surprise there.

I decided to try again later, I needed to get ready for dinner now. I put my phone down, as I did it buzzed notifying me Joe sent me a message. I sighed and picked it up again, unlocking it and going onto messages. 

From 'bae'- 8:30, anywhere you want to go?

I told him which restaurant and then put it down, telling myself not to pick it back up. 

I walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on, the cold water splattered over my legs, as I turned the hot tap loose.

I took off my clothes and then got in, feeling the warm water trickle down my back and relaxing for the first time in what felt like days.

After just standing in the shower for ten minutes I finally got out, and dried off.

I wrapped the towel around my body and then looked for something to wear. 

I found dark blue dress with a high, laced neck, it came up to about mid thigh. 

I threw on some mascara, concealer, lipstick and lined my eyes ending in a flick. I was overall pretty happy with how I looked. I checked the time, 8:20!

shoot, I have to go. 

I quickly grabbed my purse and shoes and then sprinted to the car stuffing my feet inside the shoes as I ran. I turned the key and started the engine.
