Anakin looked at his scanners in despair.

Still nothing!

Why just still nothing?!

Some tears ran from his face and down his sunken in cheeks.

There were not many tears.

He had hardly any tears left.

Rex put his hands on his general's shoulder from behind.

"We'll find the little one. You know that General and I know that too."

Anakin sighed. He was so glad the clone captain had snuck aboard.

Rex looked at the scanners. "If she's not here, then we'll keep looking. And on. Until we find her."

No sign of hope came from the young Jedi. "We don't have forever Rex. As soon as the 'meditation time' is over we have to go back to the battlefield. And then we can't look for her anymore. We have to find her now Rex. Now!" he hung his head.

"Then we mustn't lose hope now more than ever. General. Anakin. We. Will. Find. Her." his words were forceful and clear.

Anakin straightened up. "You're right. Let's keep flying. She needs us."

He sat down in the cockpit and typed coordinates into the computer.

His Padawan could rely on him. He would not give up on her. Never.

But still... a deep crack ran through his signature.

Half a year.

Half a year she had already disappeared.

She had been fifteen for three months....

He actually wanted to celebrate her birthday with her.

He had already planned everything with the boys, since he had found out when her birthday was.

They knew where they could get the cake, they already had the decoration...

But they couldn't celebrate, because Ahsoka wasn't there. And as long as she wasn't there...

She was alone somewhere in the galaxy.

Anakin watched as the stars stretched and they jumped into hyperspace.

He left the cockpit and went to his quarters.

The quarters were covered with dents.

Dents that he had made.

Out of anger. Out of despair. Out of fear.

He added another dent and looked at his hand.

His knuckles were scraped up, and his wrist was red from the energy it had to deal with lately.

He might be better off striking with the metal hand.

But he didn't want to.

The pain in his fist reminded him of the pain Ahsoka was probably enduring right now.

Who knew how badly she was hurt...?

Anakin was reassured to feel at least a little pain himself.

He hit the wall again.

The dent became deeper.

The thudding stretched up the length of his fist.

Sidious laughed Evilly when he heard the Assassin's plan.

Dooku's pupil was a lot more cunning than he had thought.

"Make it so. Drive Skywalker mad. Let's teach him. Let's make him suffer.

Ventress bowed with a joyful expression on his face.

"As you wish Lord Sidious," she said, turning and leaving.

Her plan was perfidious and every detail had to be right.

But if it would work... then Anakin Skywalker would break. Of that she was sure.
