Summary - Ruben is on a getaway in Sardinia. There he meets a girl named Fiorella. She starts to wonder why Ruben won't tell her what exactly he is getting away from, or even what his real name is.

Enjoy!

Fiorella had never dreamed of leaving her small, picturesque hometown in Sardinia and exploring a world beyond the azure waters and golden beaches of her island. However, when the opportunity finally presented itself she had a strong urge to take it. Chiara and her husband Enzo had insisted that she spend spring break with them in London. Fiorella could not resist the allure of a new adventure and decided to visit them.

Stepping off the plane, Fiorella was immediately struck by the chilly air that nipped at her cheeks. The weather was a stark contrast to the warm Mediterranean climate she was used to. Her anxiety heightened as she grabbed her suitcase and made her way to the arrivals hall. Beaming with excitement, Chiara and Enzo approached her, their smiles as bright as the afternoon sun. They enveloped Fiorella in a warm embrace, instantly dispelling her nervousness. Chiara was thrilled to have her sister by her side again, having not seen each other since the holidays.

During the car ride to Chiara and Enzo's apartment, Fiorella couldn't help but marvel at the lush village that was London town. It was a far cry from the rugged beauty of Sardinia, yet she found it equally captivating. Upon their arrival, Chiara ushered Fiorella into their home, wrapping her in a comforting blanket and preparing a warm cup of tea.

As Fiorella sipped the aromatic brew, she couldn't help but think about Ruben and how close yet so far she was from him. The hours they would spend on the phone was nothing compared to being together in the same room. Fiorella was anxious, the time that she and Ruben had spent apart must have affected his feelings for her, she thought. Surely they weren't as strong anymore, although Fiorella was still very much in love with Ruben. The difference between the two was the fact that Sardinia had a fraction of the population England had, Ruben would be surrounded by 55 million people who could interest him more than the country girl he ran into in a small island in the mediterranean sea.

"He knows you're coming right?"

"Huh?"

Chiara had noticed her sister drifting gaze and rightfully assumed what was on her mind.

"Ruben, he knows you're coming to his game tomorrow, right?"

Fiorella nodded. "Yes, we spoke on the phone the other day. I told him about my trip to London."

"Was he happy?"

"Huh?"

"When you told him that you were coming, did he sound happy about the fact?"

"Yes, he was happy."
