The much-awaited engagement day had finally arrived, and the Gill mansion had been transformed into a stunning venue adorned with exquisite decorations. The courtyard, in particular, was a sight to behold, bedecked with an array of flowers, twinkling lights, and elegant draperies, creating a magical ambiance for the celebration.

Amidst the joyful preparations, Sid and Naaz also busied themselves getting ready for the occasion.

Sid donned a magnificent sherwani, intricately embroidered with exquisite patterns and adorned with elegant details. Kushal made him wear a turban. (Not the Punjabi one.. just a simple one.)

Sid: Yaar yeh thoda zyada nahi hai? 

Kush: Kya bath keh raha hai. Teri engagement hai ithna tho chalega.

Ken: Aur nahi tho... chup be...

Baaz: Bhai hero lag rahe ho...

Sid: Hero tho hoon main lekin yeh thoda zyada lag raha hai. (He removed the turban and set his hair.)

In another room, Sana adorned herself in a stunning peach lehenga, adorned with intricate embroidery that gracefully adorned the fabric. Her blouse, adorned with elaborate embellishments, added a touch of elegance to her ensemble. Draped over her shoulders, the dupatta, even more opulent with its glittery accents, added a regal flair to her attire as she awaited the final touches of makeup.

Jaspreet entered with make up boxes and jewelery for Sana.

Jas: Tu ne moisturizer lagaya?

Sana: Haan baba. Dekh zyada mat karna... (she requested)

Sonali: Nahi karenge... (she assured)

Sonali and Jaspreet saw the hickey on Sana's neck.

Jas: Sanaaaaa Kal bhi tum log ek sath soye the?? (Jas exclaimed)

Sana looked at her puzzled. Sonali showed her the mirror and Sana was blushing.

Sana: aap log jo soch rahe ho aisa nahi hai... woh kal aaya tha room mein but hum ne thodi baat ki aur jaldi chala gaya. (She answered in a embaressed tone)

Jas: Aise kaun baath kartha hai?? (She asked raising one eye brow)

Sonali: There bauji ko patha chala tho tum dono ko maar daalenge...

That is when Preethi entered the room.

Pr: Kis ko maarna hai ?  (She inquired)

Jas: (Smiling nervously) Who ek kida... Sana ko ek kide ne kata hai. Tho use marne ki baat ho rahi thi...

Pr: Haan sana ko keeda thoda zyada hi kaattha hai... (She said nonchalantly)

Sonali: Haan...

Pr: Waise who keeda peach sherwani mein acha lag raha hai (Preethi winked and and gave a teasing smile)

Sana covered her face and Sonali and Jaspreet were laughing hysterically. They covered the hickey with some concealer and did make up for her.

Amidst the bustling venue, anticipation filled the air as friends and family eagerly awaited the engagement ceremony. Sid's anticipation grew palpable, his eyes eagerly scanning the venue for Sana's arrival. When she finally made her entrance, gasps of admiration and whispers of awe swept through the crowd. Sid's gaze was immediately drawn to her, unable to tear his eyes away from her radiant beauty.

The stage, adorned with a plethora of vibrant flowers, served as the picturesque backdrop for Sid and Sana's special moment. As Sana walked towards him, her cheeks were pink because of his intense stare, she felt a rush of emotions, her heart skipping a beat as she met Sid's enamored gaze. The love and excitement were not only evident on Sid and Sana's faces but also reflected in the smiles and teary eyes of their loved ones, who watched on with hearts full of joy and pride. Together, Sid and Sana made their way onto the stage, embraced by the overwhelming warmth and support of their cherished friends and family, as they embarked on this momentous occasion.

Sid took the ring in his hand and again went down on his knees and proposed to her.

Sid: Mere bhai ke guzarne ke baad I promised myself that I would never fall in love ever. I never wanted to get close any girl ever in my life. But the day you fell into my arms changed everything. The day you said you love me was the best day of my life. Tumhe milne ke baad ka har din khoobsoorat lagtha hai. And I want that beautiful feeling to last for ever. So will you give me the honor of marrying you and leading a beautiful life?

Sana nodded with tears in her eyes and extended her hand. He put the ring on her hand.

Now it was Sana's turn to put the ring on Sid's hand.

Sana: Sidharth. Tum kehte ho maine tumhari zindagi ko khoobsoorat banaya. The fact is tumne meri zindagi ko khoobsoorat banaya. So, Thank you meri zindagi mein aaane ke liye. I love you for what you are and for what I am when I am with you.

Amidst the jubilant atmosphere, Sana tenderly slid the ring onto Sid's finger, sealing their commitment to each other. Cheers and applause erupted from the crowd, filling the air with joyous celebration. Sana and Sid, hands intertwined, radiated happiness and love, their smiles lighting up the stage.
