Love You, Truly Madly Deeply...

I had to do it.

Post lunch everyone was sitting in the drawing room. Sana was sitting on the floor next to bauji, baaz was sitting on the other side and they were looking at their child hood album. She was showing Sid the pics and was telling him stories of her childhood. Bauji was looking at them with lots of love. He ran his hand on her hair. Sana looked at him and noticed that he had tears in his eyes.

Bauji: Aap sab yahan aaye aap sab ka dhanyavad. Aaaj meri bachi 10 saal baad mere paas baiti hai. Main uske sath jo kiya uske liye apne aap ko kabhi bhi maaf nahi kar saktha. Lekin main kuch kar bhi nahi saktha tha. (His voice was breaking saying that)

Sana: Na bauji aap aap maafi math maango.

Bauji: Mujhe patha hai beta ki tu mujhse naraz nahi hai aur kuch jaanna bhi nahi chahti. Lekin mujhe sab bathana hai. Us din jab tujhe police le gai mujhe samajh nahi aaraha tha ki kya karoon. Main ne apne family advocate ko phone kar ke madad maangi. Par usne mana kar diya. Main pareshan ho gaya aur iske chacha ke paas gaya madad maangne. Main andar jane wala hi tha ki maine unhe vakeel se baath karthe hue sun liya.

CH: Us manhoos ne tho khaandaan ki naak katadi. Ladki hai chup chap she nahi sakthi thi? Ab iska kya kareen?

Adv: Bail pe nikal ke la sakthe hain...

CH: Bail pe nikalkneke bare mein nahi bol raha. Usne jo dhabba hamare khaandaan pe lagaya hai us ka kya karna hai wo soch raha hoon. Woh zinda rahi tho hamesha yeh daag laga rahega humare khandaan ke uper. Agar who wapas yahan aayi tho usko mardaloonga main.

Adv: woh sab aap jano. App ko jo karna hai karo. Maine aap ke bhai ko mana kar diya uska case lene se.

CH: Sale vakeel tujhe mana karne ki kya zaroorat thi? (He seethed grabbing the advocate's collar)

Adv: mujhe laga ki aap ko acha nahi lagega. (He replied in a scared tone)

CH: Acha tho ab bhi nahi lag raha hai.... Tu jaa aur Santhokh ko bol ki tu case lene ko thayyar hai. Us manhoos ko chuda ke le aa. Baaki main dekh loonga. 

Bauji sighed and continued.

Bauji: Jab maine yeh suna tho main vahan se chala gaya. Family vakeel jab vapas mere paas aaya tho maine mana kar diya. Meri bachi ne ithna kuch jhela phirbhi usi ko gunehgaar tehrarahe the yeh log. Mujhe samajh me aagaya the ki agar who vapas is ghar mein aayi tho use kisi tareeke se ye loog mar dalenge. Is liye maine aisa natak kiya ki mujhe use koi lena dena nahi hai. Main ne Sonali ke papa Balbir se madad li. Usne ek vakeel ko rakha aur Sana ka case le liya.

He looks at Sana with tears in his eyes.

Bauji: Jab who wapas aayi tho main nahi gaya use dekhne. Maine tab tak door ke bording school mein uska admission karvadiya taki who wapas is ghar mein na aaye. Sonali aur Jaspreet ke parents ne bhi unka admission usii school me karva diya taki meri bachi akeli na pad jaye.un logon ka jithna bhi shukriya adah karoon tho bhi kafi nahi hoga. 

With tears in his eyes, he folded his hands in gratitude and thanked them.

Bauji: Har baar koi usko wapas lane ki baat kartha main mana kar deta. Kehta ki wo mere liye mar chuki hai. jab ki sach tho yeh hai ki ise dekh ne ke liye meri aankhe tarasti thin... lekin main kya kartha main agar kamzor pad jatha tho wo log ise maar daalthe.  Aur mein yeh nahi hone de saktha tha.

Choking on his words, he broke down, tears streaming down his face. Sana quickly embraced him, whispering softly, "Mat roiye bauji..."

Bauji: Mujhe maaf karde beta. Maine tujhe bohot dukh diya sab se door rakh ke. (He couldnt  forgive himself for what ever happened)

Sana: math roiye bauji. Yeh sach hai ki aap ne dukh diya lekin karan bhi thot ha aap ke paas. (She said trying to ease his pain)

Bauji: Mujhe pata tha yeh log tujhe aise chodenge nahi. Main unka admi ban kar raha kyun ki mujhe jaan na tha ki who kya kya plan kar rahe hain. Agar who tujhe kuch nuksaan pahunchane ki tayyari karthe tho main kis tarah unko rok liya kartha tha. Jab Sonali ne Psycho ke bare mein bathaya tab maine puchtach ki aur patalagaya ki uske peeche bhi yehi loog hain. In logon ne uske dimaag mein aise daal ke bheja ki tu use kisi aur ke liye chod ke chali gayi. Aur is wajah se who tujhe maarna chahta tha. Sidharth ne tujhe usdin bachaliya. Tune complaint nahi di aur who phirse tere peeche aagaya. 

Sonali: Tujhe pata hai ham soch rahe the ki Paras achanak kaise sudhar gaya... Uske peeche bhi bauji hi the. inhone usko ithna dhamkaya ki woh teri or dekhne se bhi darne laga tha. (Sonali informed in a proud tone)

Sana looked at her father with amazement and lot of love.

Sana: Bauji aap ... Aap ne ithne saal aapka pyar chupaya aur mere liye ithna kuch kiya. Aur main aap ko galath samajhti rahi.  (Tears trickled down her cheeks. )

Bauji: Na beta na... tu ro mat. mujhe pata hai maine bohot dukh diye hain tujhe. Aaaj woh log salakhon ke peeche hain magar Beta yeh loog bohot khatarnaakh hain. Kuch bhi kar sakthe hain. Agar yeh loog bahar aagaye tho main soch nahi saktha ki woh kya kar sakte hain.

He looked at Sana with fear stricken eyes. Every one was sad n numb listening to how cruel people can be.

Sid: (Holds bauji's hand) Baujia ap dariye mat. Kuch nahi hoga. Woh ab kabhi bhi aap ki zindagi mein vapas nahi aayenge. Yeh mera vada hai aap se.

Bauji looked at Sid confused.

Sid: aap ko mujh pe bharosa hai na?

Bauji nods in affirmation. Sid gives him an assuring smile.

Baaz: bauji. Tho aap ko in dono ki relationship se koi athraaz nahi tha?

Bauji: Mujhe athraaz kyun hoga? Jab Sonali ne in dono ke bare mein bathaya thab maine inke bare mein sab poochtach kar ke pata kar liya. Main tho apnea ap ko khushnaseeb samajhta hoon ke Sid jaisa ladka meri beti se shadi kar raha hai. Ithna acha ghar Parivar main bhi nahi doond saktha tha is ke liye. Main aap sab ka shukrguzaar hoon ke aap ne meri bachi ko apnaya.

Bauji folds his hands and bows infront of Sid's mom.

SM: Aap kya kar rahe hain. Shukriya tho hamen aap se kehna chahiye jo aapne ise protect kiya. Nahi tho humen ithni pyari bachi nahi milti aur naahi hamen hamara Sid wapas miltha. 

Every one was getting emotional in a good way when Jaspreet asked

Jas: Tho shadi kab hai? (She asked excitedly)

Every one looks at her

Jas: Are yaar... mujhe thayyariyan tho karni padegi naa... after all meri best friend ki shadi hai. I have to look good. (She said smiling nervously)

Everyone laughed and the room got filled with lively conversations. Sid looked at Sana and blew a kiss. Sana looked around to make sure that no one saw that and blew back a kiss. Sid winked at Sana and they both laughed. Sana felt her heart flutter and her cheeks blush. She quickly looked away, embarrassed, and Sid chuckled.

Their engagement was planned in two days and their marriage after Sana graduates.

Though Sid was not so happy with the arrangement he was happy that everything was happening with bauji's blessings like Sana wished for.
