Part 5. White-haired old man fell off the horse

The people of White Castle City can be divided into the following four categories:

Commoners: General citizens with various cute animal features (like rabbits, cats, and dogs) who typically wear rural clothing for livestock rearing, production, manufacturing, and other work. They mainly reside in the commoner layer, and Toosb was originally a commoner.

Nobles: A group with human characteristics, mainly composed of ministers, officials, and artists employed in the immaculate Buckingham Palace. They mostly reside in the noble district, considering themselves superior. Many A and B-level trainees, such as William, Margaret, and John, are almost exclusively noble children. As nobles are mainly inherited by family background, it is rare for a commoner to rise to the noble class.

Chess soldiers: Western chess soldiers responsible for defending the country, with activities covering the entire white castle city region. They value discipline and were devoted to the White Queen and the White General.

Royal family: Currently, only Queen Elizabeth herself.

Although different classes have slightly different values, the collective consciousness of the people of white city is rigorously adhering to the White Code and hostility towards the Red Heart people. Even though the tyranny of the Red Heart Queen had been a long time ago, the pain was still hard to let go of.

After the parade, white castle city has returned to its original three layers. Amisa and her party came to the flower shop street from the Lightning Ranch. In addition to buying raw materials for daily necessities, there were also various exquisite handicraft shops in the area.

Frog Matcha was still pretending to be at ease walking at the forefront, explaining tirelessly while GPO Dog and Toosb hopped around on the side. Jasky followed closely behind, transcribing Frog Matcha's oral notes.

Amisa absentmindedly walked to a Dragonfly Horse jewelry store, where a fairy horse-shaped accessory caught her eye. She forgot herself while browsing: "Oops, I can't shout, what should I do?"

Clang!

"Ow!"

A falling sound came from nearby. An old man with a white beard wearing armor was falling off a tall white wooden horse. The horse was quite well-behaved and stopped when the old man fell. However, it would take one or two steps and then hear a falling sound, remaining in place for a long time.

"The old man really can't ride a horse...oh no, here we go again!"

Help!

"Hmm?" The old man came to his senses and saw a young girl supporting him from below.

"Ouch! Thank you, little girl, for your help!"

Amisa smiled and nodded.

"What's your name, little girl?"

Amisa smiled wryly and shook her head.

"Can't you speak? I'm sorry for you, little girl, but thank you. The old man has to go to the cathedral...ahhhhhh!"

"Bam!"

"... " The old man fell off his horse again, and Amisa helped him up.

"Ah... if it weren't for my bike being repaired, this old man wouldn't want to ride any wooden horse. But I borrowed this from my subordinates, and I can't just leave it here..." Seeing the old man looking troubled, Amisa took out a notebook from her pocket: "Do you want me to help you over there?"

"Ouch! Your writing is so unique! Are you saying you'll help this old man cross over?"

"Can he read Chinese characters?" Amisa then wrote, "Yes, I'll help you, sir." The old man patted the horse's back, which was taller than him, and asked, "I appreciate your kindness, little girl, but this wooden horse is tall. How will you help me cross?"

The wooden horse was even larger than the city gate, but it looked very docile. Amisa thought there might be a feasible way, so she pointed to herself and then to the wooden horse, indicating that she could ride it to try it out.

"Ah! That's a great idea. Although I may look like this, I still know a thing or two about riding horses. The principle is very simple. When you learn it, could you please take me to the Notre Dame Cathedral? I will definitely repay you."

Amisa nodded. The old man's left leg and right hand were both mechanical prostheses, which might be the reason why he couldn't ride a horse. Although the old man's explanation during the teaching process was rigid, it was easy to understand. Amisa easily learned and successfully rode the wooden horse to take the old man to his destination as he had mentioned.

You can see three otter workers repairing the road along the way. Their repair method was quite unique. They first put all kinds of clay materials in the empty spaces on the ground, and then just use a hammer to knock on them. The clay blocks immediately automatically combine to form a new road surface. Amisa was amazed by this methods.

The old man explained, "Oh, that's dream synthesis. As long as you place the specified materials in the correct position and input the dream power on the hammer, the items will automatically combine together." Then he happily pointed to the street lamp tree and said, "Look at those street lamp trees. They will light up at night just by using dream power to conduct electricity! But I still prefer dream synthesis. It's really a great invention. My mechanical prosthetic limbs, automatic bicycles, and scone buses are all masterpieces of dream synthesis. But dream synthesis can be used not only in inventions, but also in repairing, construction, and bla bla bla... " the old man continued to speak

The old man kept praising his inventions like a talkative box along the way. Amisa smiled helplessly and couldn't help but remember her grandma Yulan, who also used to chatter a lot when she got older. When she was young, she went to the farm with her grandma to ride horses and experience a different view. But when she rode the horse herself, she didn't have time to look around. She had to concentrate and keep her balance, or she might fall off the horse like the old man did.

Unlike ordinary horses, the wooden horse moves forward in a way that is similar to human walking, with both front and back legs sticking to curved rods. But the process is very smooth, and the advanced cushion can relieve the pain of sitting. Moreover, this wooden horse seems to be experienced and is not easily frightened even when Mido plays with its hair on its head.

"Girl, we're here!" The wooden horse walked from the shopping street to a small square, where there was a majestic and gorgeous building with a cross on top of its spire.

Trifle Norwich Cathedral, the silver creamy-colored Caen limestone facing shone, with a thick layer of caramel sauce on the outer layer and fruits, sponge cake, and juice as decorations. The complexly carved door pillars and arches give it a solemn feel.

After dismounting, Amisa handed the note "I need to find my friend" and prepared to leave with Mido, but was stopped by the old man, "Hey! Wait a minute, little girl. I haven't thanked you yet for coming. Since you're here, I'll let you meet an important person." Although she was worried that her other companions might be looking for her, the old man's invitation aroused Amisa's curiosity, so she followed him in.
