I grabbed my pile of dirty clothes and walked down the stairs, placing them in a barrel we all used as a washing basket, for Carol to wash later, then made my way to the door.

As soon as I was about to open the door, it swung open itself, revealing...oh no...
"Daryl!?" I squeaked, seeing him in the doorway.
"Trouble." He greeted.
I quickly made some distance and fiddled with my jacket, suddenly feeling very conscious about myself.
"Why aren't you at lunch?"
"Why aren't ye?" He fired back.
"Tired. I was busy yesterday."
He grunted and walked past me, throwing his crossbow onto a table.
"Still haven't answered my question, Dixon."
"Busy." Was all he answered.

He began to make his way up the stars but paused and looked back to me, squinting his eyes. He turned to take a better look at me, examining me from my feet to my face. Oh no....Oh no...

"What? Like what you see?" I sassed, giving him a twirl.
He snorted.
"Naw, just 'membered somethin'."
"Oh? And what's that?"
He leaned on the railings and shook his head.
"Ye weren't in yer cell last night."
I stared blankly at him.
"Wha..? Why were you in my cell?"
"Was lookin' for yer."
I walked over to him and slung an arm round his shoulder.
"Awh, I knew you loved me really, Dixon." I teased, trying to change the subject.
He groaned and nudged me off.
"Who'd like ye? Was 'bout a supply run."
I raised my brow.
"Another one? We just.."
He shook his head.
"For winter. Rick wants t' stock up. Get warm clothes, blankets. I'm runnin' it since he's stuck with Judith."
"Ah, yeah. Makes sense."
"I trust ye, so I want ye to come along. Be my right hand."

I looked up to him, my eyes wide, but my shock soon turned to a smile. I nudged him and ruffled his hair.
"THE, Daryl Dixon, trusts me? I'm honoured!" I said dramatically.
He grunted and rolled his eyes.
"Shut up." He grumbled.
"I knew you were all soft inside! Like a big cuddly bear!"
"I ain't no bear."
"Awww, grumpy bear." I cooed.
He gave me a stern look and I smirked.
"Yer askin' fer it." He pointed.
I put a hand up to my ear, pretending not to hear.
"Aw, is the bear grumpy? Want a cuddle?" I teased.

Suddenly he began ruffling my hair, making me swat him away in protest, which made him chuckle.
"Hey! You're messing it up, grizzly!" I argued, doing the same to him.
"Aw, is the kitten mad?" He teased back.
"You little..."

We began to fight each other, though it was more like rough housing, both of us were careful not to hurt each other, but also not willing to let the other win. I punched and kicked at him, but he really was built like a bear.

"Just admit defeat!" I grunted, locking his arm.
"To ye? Never. I ain't losing to a little girl."
"Little girl!? This little girl will beat your ass."
"I'd like to see ye try."
"You're asking for it, grumpy!"
"We'll see, trouble."

After a few minutes Daryl caught me in a choke hold, with me trying to kick his legs out from under him.
"Give up?" He chuckled.
"Never!" I yelled.
I managed to swing him over my shoulder, dropping him to the floor, but he refused to let go and I went down with him.

We both laid on the cold prison floor in shocked silence for a few seconds, then I burst out laughing, whilst Daryl quietly chuckled. We laid side by side, but at opposite ends to each other.

"Nice move, trouble." He complimented.
I stuck my thumb up in the air and laughed.
"Nice grip, grizzly."
I quickly stood up, then turned to help Daryl off the ground. He took my hand and stood, brushing himself off.
"Ye coming then or wha?"
I nodded, grinning at him.
"Sure, since you love me so much."

He scoffed and rolled his eyes. He opened his mouth to say something but stopped himself, something seemingly catching his attention. He squinted his eyes at me and I raised a brow.

Suddenly, he grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and pulled it down slightly, then smirked. I quickly realised what had caught his attention. He pushed me away, grinning at my panicked face.

"Oh, ye were tired were ye?" He started.
"It's not...it's from the run I did.."
He crossed his arms, his smirk never fading.
"From ye run? Ye..sure..and the sky's green."
"It was!"
He swung his arm round my shoulder.
"Didn't know you had it in ye! Must've had a wild night by the looks of it."
"Daryl!"
I quickly nudged him off and turned away.
He chuckled and followed me. He let out a whistle.
"Yea, musta' been real busy to be gone all night and not come back till midday."
"I was on watch!"
"On watch my ass. What're the bruises? Mosquito bites?"
I paused and looked at him.
"Yeah..?"
He snorted and pat my shoulder.
"Ain't no Mosquitos in winter."
"I...sleepwalk?"
"Sleep-fuck more like."

I choked on my own saliva and struggled to come up with any other excuse. I can't believe I forgot about them...Oh no...and I had teased him before...he was not gonna let this go...

"Now I look at ye, ye got bags under ye eyes. It really musta been a wild night..."
"Daryl, please.." I begged, feeling my face heat up.
"No wonder ye looked so tidy, ye were tryin' to hide it weren't ye?"
"Daryl!"
"Forget kittens, yer like a little bunny with that many marks.."
I slapped Daryl's arm and he laughed. Not chuckled, laughed.
"Alright, alrigh'."

We looked at each other and he held his hands up in surrender, but as soon as I turned around he opened his mouth again.
"Face is as red as a tomata'."
I quickly turned around and kicked him in his ass.
"You'll be a tomato in a minute if you don't shut up!"
He chuckled and surrendered again. I gave him a warning look and he smirked.
"That aggressive last night were ye?"
"DARYL!"

After a few more minutes of nonstop teasing, and trying to get Daryl to shut his mouth, he finally decided to stop...for the time being anyway. We sat on the perch together, dangling our legs over the edge. Despite his lack of teases, his smirk never left his face, nor did he stop laughing at my, presumably, beet red face.

"Where were ye last night then?" He asked.
"Watchtower."
He raised his brow.
"Watchtower?"
I nodded and he pondered for a moment, the smirked.
"Oh? Glenn, huh? Didn't think chinaman  was your type." He teased, nudging me.
I snorted and shook my head.
"Glenn!? No, no! He's nice but...yeah, definetly not my type."
"Who t' hell was it then?"
I looked to Daryl and raised a brow.
"Who was on watch?"
He thought for a moment, then it hit him.
"Naw, ye didn't fuck Maggie, did ye?"
I nodded, feeling my face heat up.
"So ye like being bossed about, huh?" He teased.
I nudged him.
"Quit it already!"
He chuckled, then pat my back.

He gently rubbed my back in a comforting manner. He let out a sigh and softened his voice.
"Ye like her then? Maggie?"
I clasped my hands together and nodded.
"Yeah...yeah I do."
Daryl grunted and nodded.
"Spent all night with her then?"
"Yeah."
"Ya know Glenn has te hots for her, right?"
"Yeah...well...he'll just have to find a different cowgirl. This one's mine."
Daryl chuckled.
"Others know? Hershel?"
"No, not yet. Maggie will find the right time."
He nodded and gave me a side hug.
"Worried 'bout it?"
I hummed.
"Don't. I'll beat the old man's ass if he's got a problem with it."
I looked up at him, shocked.
"Daryl!"
"I mean it. I'll beat anyone's ass. Don't give a damn if they're some old geezer."

I chuckled and hugged Daryl back, giving him a kiss on the cheek, then leaned on his shoulder.
"Thanks, Daryl."
He grunted in response.
I looked up to him and smiled.
"See, soft like a bear." I teased.
"Horny like a bunny."
I choked on my own spit and Daryl began to chuckle.
"Daryl!"

I went to hit him but he quickly dodged and got up. I followed after him as he continued to tease me, trying to kick his ass.
"Get back here, Dixon!"
"So you can rough me up like Maggie?"
"Daryl!" I squeaked.
His chuckle echoed throughout the cell block as I chased him.

Soon enough I caught him and kicked his ass, literally.
"You're such an ass!"
He smirked and ruffled my hair.
"Let's go get food, ye must be starved. Unless...you're still full from.."
"FINE, LETS GO GET FOOD IF IT'LL SHUT YOU UP!"
I stormed ahead of him, hearing his chuckles in the distance.
