Glenn stayed in my cell and talked to me about everything I had missed out on whilst I was unconscious, whereas Maggie, well, she sat by my side with a pissed off look on her face, which looked both hilarious and adorable.

"Right, so Daryl and I went on a run and we found this huge stache of-"
"Glenn! Y/n just woke up! You'll talk her ears off with your rambling. Her head hurts enough as it is!" Maggie scolded.
I chuckled and pat Glenn's shoulder as he gave a sheepish look.
"I just wanted to fill her in..."
Maggie rolled her eyes.
"She doesn't need to know about some stupid comic stache."
I snapped my head to Glenn.
"Comics?"
He nodded excitedly.
"A huge stache! Super old marvel ones, like, super old. They're worth billions."
Maggie rolled her eyes and groaned.
"You mean, the originals?"
"Yeah!"

I grabbed Glenn's hands and looked at him with puppy eyes.
"Please, tell me you took them."
"Daryl wouldn't let me! He said they were useless! That we needed the space for more important things." He pouted.
"We do. You went on a supply run, Glenn. Not a trip to a comic store." Maggie scolded.
"Noo! The bastard! I bet he's never read a comic." I said dramatically.
"That's what I thought!...But..."
He drummed on his thighs.
"I did get one comic."
I placed my arms on his shoulders and shook him.
"What one? WHAT ONE!?"
He laughed and shook my arms off.
"The very first avengers issue."
"No wayyyy."
"Yes way." He nodded proudly.

Before Glenn could say anything else Hershel walked through the cell door.
"What's all this racket?" He asked.
Maggie gave him an unamused look.
"Glenn is disrupting y/n's rest"
I gave Hershel puppy eyes.
"He was just telling me about-"
Hershel shook his head.
"You need rest, young lady. You only woke up this morning."
I groaned and Maggie smirked triumphantly.
Hershel turned to Glenn.
"And that means you need to let her be. No disruptions of any kind."
Glenn's jaw dropped.
"What about Maggie!?"
"Maggie isn't disrupting her rest"
"That's favouritism!" I protested.
"Yeah!" Glenn agreed.

Hershel chuckled as Maggie softly slapped my arm, giving me a stern look. He gestured for Glenn to leave and he slowly trod out, looking like a sad puppy. Hershel walked further into the cell and sat on my bed, by my legs. He pat my legs gently in a comforting manner.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.
I closed my eyes and nodded my head slowly.
"Okay. I'm okay. My heads a bit heavy but...that's it. My other wounds are fine."
He nodded and Maggie smiled, looking relieved.
"I'm not surprised, Michone hit your head pretty hard. As well as other things, it seems.."
I looked at him confused and Maggie scoffed.
"The idiot who knocked you out."
Hershel chuckled.
"Maggie, it was an accident. She helped you escape, remember?"
She clicked her tongue.
Hershel turned to me.

"She's new. Turned up to the prison after you hadn't come back, with baby formula in her hand. She was the reason we even found you both at all. She showed the group to Woodbury, the place you had been taken to." He explained.

"She's still the reason-"
I chuckled and put my hand on Maggie's.
"Maggie, I'm fine now. Besides, she helped you get out when I couldn't. Don't hold a grudge."
She scoffed, crossing her arms.
"Speaking of Michone, she wants to talk to you. Rick does as well, he wants information on Woodbury."
"Dad, she just got up. Don't interrogate her."
Hershel chuckled.
"I meant when she's well enough, Maggie."
"I'm well enough now?"

Maggie scowled at me and pushed me down on the bed, as I tried to rise.
"Don't even think about it. You're resting today."
I turned to Hershel and gave him puppy eyes. He simply held his hands up in surrender.
"What Maggie says goes, I'm afraid." He chuckled.
"But you're the doctor."
Maggie pointed a finger to her dad.
"Don't. She's not going anywhere." She warned.
Hershel chuckled and nodded.
I groaned and rolled my eyes.
"Bossy boots. I've never known a cowgirl, as bossy as you."
She smirked at me, looking me in my eyes. A mischievous twinkle shone in them.
