Scar's Pov

I woke up late than usually, knowing it's Saturday. I yawned and sat up in my bed, pushing my hair away from my face. I heard Jellie meowing, and smiled when she leaped onto my lap. She sat down and started rubbing her tail against my chest. "Good morning, Jellie" I stroked her fur while looking around me sleepily. Eventually I stood up and walked downstairs to the kitchen, opening the fridge and looking for something to eat. I decided to make myself some oatmeal for breakfast, so I did just that. (too lazy to explain how to make oatmeal-)

I grabbed the oatmeal bowl and walked to the table, setting my bowl and spoon there. I sat down and started eating as I pulled out my phone. I opened WhatsApp and was confused to see that someone added me to a group chat just a few minutes ago. I glanced up and smiled at the name of the ground;

I placed down my spoon in my half-finished bowl of oatmeal, and walked upstairs to my room. I walked inside and opened my curtains so I can see through Grian's window, and wasn't surprised to see that he's asleep. I chuckled and turned back to my phone.

I giggled and gazed again at the sleeping avian in the house next to me. He had a rough day yesterday... I wonder if I should let him sleep or wake him up... He should rest so his wounds could heal, But Im sure it will cheer him up to go hang out with friends, and to be honest I kinda want to see him too.

I smiled again and looked back through Grian's window. Grian sat up, putting his phone aside and stretching his body. When he noticed me he gave me a warm smile, so warm it made my heart melt.

I almost got lost on the way to the mall, I was there only once, and it was months ago, im suprise I even remember the way. "Etho!" I waved to my silver haired friend. "Scar. What's up?" He stood and waited for me at the entrance to the mall. "Im good" I smiled at him. "Grian's not with you?"
"No. Why are you asking?" I wondered as we walked in.

"No reason. I just figured you'll come together since he's your neighbour" He shrugged his shoulders. "He told me not to wait for him, because he knew he will be late"
"Ah, I see. Was he sleeping?" I nodded. "I texted that in the group chat, didn't you see?" I questioned and he shook his head in respond. "Bdubs was the one who told me were going, the group chat on mute years ago. Literally." I giggled at his words.
