Surviving The Tornadoes

Morning

Jay fell asleep the rest of the night. I was awake frightened as shit. I was still shaking but not as much as I was before Jay and I cuddled.

Of course it was a Monday. A school day. Our first day of school.

"Hey love birds! Get up!" Angel came in.

"I've been up!" I said.

"How long have you been up!" She asked.

"All night! I can't sleep!" I said getting up.

"I don't think school is necessary for you today. You need to stay home and get some sleep." Angel replied to me.

"I'm fine. I can get threw the day." I said.

She left without saying a word. I got up and got ready for school. We still didn't have a house. We couldn't find one at a reasonable price.

"Jay, get up!!" I said.

Jay got up and got dressed.

"Are you OK?" My dad asked me as I was getting breakfast.

"Yeah, why?" I asked.

"Your putting ketchup on a bagel and jelly on your bacon." He said.

"Oh, its a joke for jay." I lied.

"Um sure. Sweety maybe you should stay here?" He said.

"I'm fine." I said.

"Alright, have a good day." He kissed my forehead.

I threw my plate of food away because it was disgusting.
Jay came in after that. He fixed a plate up for me and him.

"Thanks Jay!" I said.

"No problem. You seem different today." Jay said.

"Oh I'm fine. I made the bed, and brushed my hair like Normal." I said.

"Actually you didn't do any of that stuff. And your wearing my clothes." He said.

I looked down only to finding jays shirt and shorts on me.

"Oh, I knew that." I said.

"Alright then." He said as we both finished up eating.

"Alright you two ready to go to your first day of school?" Allison came into our room.

"Yeah!" I said.

"Ashley, your wearing way too much makeup." She said.

"No I'm not." I said.

"Actually you look like a clown." Jay said.

Allison smacked him in the chest.

"Ashley are you feeling alright?" She came and felt my forehead.

"Yep!" I said.

"No you have a low fever. Your going to stay home." Allison said.

"I can stay with her if you want." Jay said.

"No, you need to go to school!" She said.

I layed down on the bed and fell asleep instantly as I layed on my pillow.
