She took the portal to go to the Beginner's Village. She was ready to repair the shields, and any damage to the other weapons. However, upon arrival, she saw that the Oracle was still there, changed her mind, and headed towards them.

"Why was there a super strong owl in a low level leveling area?" the vampire asked, without even saying hello.

"There is nothing that prevents a high-level being from going to a low-level area. There is usually no interest in it, as the mana is less dense. Therefore, the food they can get is less tasty, less nutritious. However, there may be reasons that bring them there temporarily," they explained.

"You could have told me," Gjaki complained.

"I cannot answer questions that have not been asked."

"And what questions haven't been asked?"

"So many that it would be impossible to enumerate them in several lives."

The vampire looked at them, while wondering if, behind that mask, they were laughing at her. Maybe, they were even sticking their tongue out at her, like in a movie she has watched a long time ago. However, there was nothing to indicate it. They were as impassive as ever.

"Will it leave?" she insisted.

"I can't predict the future, but it certainly will one day. Probably before its death."

"It's not much use," she complained, without getting a response to her grumble.

She went somewhat irritated towards the anvil, while putting on her sunglasses and sunscreen clothes, thus protecting herself from the impending dawn. Once there, Gjaki repaired shields, daggers, arrows, and whatever was damaged, no matter how slightly. The cost was just a little mana that she would eventually recover.

After that, she went back through the green portal. In the cave, she was protected from the sun, so the silver-haired vampire felt more comfortable there. She sat on a chair taken out of inventory, and pulled out a red soup. She put it on a table that wasn't there before.

"Blood Soup," Gjaki smiled.

Actually, the main ingredient was tomato, and it didn't have a single drop of blood. Nonetheless, that was what Goldmi had named it, after her friend.

It was eaten cold, and was refreshing. She felt the accumulated fatigue disappear from her body when consuming it, although perhaps it was only a product of her imagination, an imagination that led her to the memory of the three eating in a cave similar to that one. Although, back then, eating meant double-clicking on the food item to get its bonuses, just before going after their enemies.

She spent a while checking her status. She couldn't find anything to explain the speed of her leveling.

"Maybe I should ask the Oracle," she sighed reluctantly. "Let's see the titles..."

Those titles were just that, titles. They were good for nothing but display. Like Magnate, which was acquired by reaching a certain amount of gold. There was also They're nothing more than ants, after killing a thousand of them.

She went over them all. She sometimes laughed at some of them, either at the description or at the memories they brought back. It was then that she reached Lady of the Night, a title given to those who accumulated at least ten thousand deaths in the night hours. They had to have killed at least ten times more at night than during the daytime. In addition, they needed to kill unless one of each level at night, up to 110, 10 above maximum. It was a title tailor-made for vampires.

While reading the description, she couldn't help but be surprised. She was sure that it wasn't like that in the game. Gjaki didn't remember it, and it sure hadn't been mentioned in any forum or wiki.

She, the one who dominates the night, who receives the power of the shadows. So, she gets twice the experience when there is no trace of the damn sunlight, only a quarter in the presence of the hateful light.

What she wasn't clear about was whether it had an effect in the game, even if it didn't indicate it. Since it was necessary to kill level 110 beings, she hadn't obtained it until reaching 100. She was not sure if it was like that, but it didn't stop her from cursing the developers. It was an extremely useful effect, but it was almost unobtainable before becoming useless. Luckily for her, that was no longer the case.

She kept checking the titles, but found no effect to mention. She even decided to forget some like Big Glutton, or Child Scarer, which she found unfair. The vampire had saved their lives by scaring them, although she didn't know if it had only been in the game.

Gjaki tested the whip with Dribble in the cave, as she wanted to know what she was capable of doing. She even wanted to explore the outside with a Bat, but it was as weak as she to the sunlight, and the being of magic and blood could not wear glasses or ninja dress.

She also tested Darkness, while observing with a mirror how far the concealment could be perceived according to how fast she was moving. Even Dark Touch was tested against the cave walls, though the corrosion power turned out to be quite imperceptible against the rock.

After that, she kept herself busy for a while designing some costumes. Like Goldmi, she had bought the portable tailoring equipment, although Gjaki hadn't even remembered it until she had seen the one in the Beginner's Village.

Since there was no sun to bother her there, she would rather use it than go back to the village.

She spent hours designing and testing a suit that covered her completely. It had even a mask that covered her face, and to which she had added a hard translucent stone that should protect her from the sun, like tinted glass. Unwillingly, she dismissed the batgirl one for being too showy, although she kept the design.

Gjaki needed to do several touch-ups until she was satisfied, until she felt that she could move freely. After that, the vampire verified that the sun didn't harm her with those clothes. She also realized the it could be tinted with various colors, with which she might be able to camouflage during the day.

Gjaki decided to craft several additional parts, with the intention of dressing them if any other were damaged, and also checked that she could switch them easily. However, she would avoid fighting during the day as much as she could, as there could always be wounds that could rip thosse clothes and let the sunlight through, even for a moment.

Finally, she took the castle-tent out and got into it. This time, she was wearing a more normal, more discreet pajamas, with a picture of her with bloody teeth and smiling. Gjaki had had time to make it after the sunscreen clothing, and had used a little Gjaki as a model.

"Maybe I could make a panther. Or a bear. Or a giant bat with red eyes and fangs. It would be so cute!" she was thinking about it as her consciousness was entering the world of dreams, and her body was hugging a fluffy stuffed crocodile.
