Gauri offers him tea and he was about to take it, she raises her eyes and looks at him. She had the most beautiful eyes.

Gauri hesitantly smiles at him and moves on to give tea to his father, mother and grandmother. Then she went and stood by her mother.

"We should let them talk." Dadi tells them.

"Here, girls and boys do not talk before marriage." Harsh says hesitantly.

Omkara's eyes widens in shock and he turns to his father and glares at him.

"That is a thing of the past... we should let the kids talk and take a decision." Tej quickly says seeing his son glaring at him.

"Let them talk." His Dadi says.

"Yeah, it is not like our time." her dadi says with a smile.

"You both go out and take a walk." Jhanvi tells them.

"Take your time... talk and take a decision." Dadi advices him.

Omkara nods and stands up. He looks at her. Gauri looks at him and then looks at her father.

"Go Gauri... show him around." Her dadi tells her.

Gauri looks at him, and he gestures her to lead the way.

*********

"This way." Gauri tells him as they stepped out of the house.

Omkara walks with her and as he looked at her. she was a true beauty but how were they going to adjust to each other and their lifestyle. This won't work out.

Omkara takes out his cigarette pack and pulls out a cigarette. Gauri turns to look at him as she hears him tap the cigarette on the cigarette pack.

"Do you mind?" Omkara asks her as he put the cigarette to his lips and started to light it.

Gauri shakes her head in negative.

"I can't go for long without cigarettes." Omkara honestly tells her.

"It is not good for health." Gauri tells him as she stopped near the fence.

Omkara shrugs as he lit his cigarette. He looks around as he took a puff to see if anyone was around to report it back to his father and exhales in relief seeing they were alone. He turns back to look at her and is a little taken back seeing her sitting on the fence.

She was looking at the farm on the side.

"You like this place?" he asks her as she watched it.

Gauri shrugs. "It's fun to come once in a while."

Omkara frowns hearing that. What did she mean by that?

"You like it?" Gauri asks him as she looked at him.

Omkara curiously looks around. "It does look beautiful and peaceful."

"You are here for three days, right?"

Omkara nods. She wasn't like what he had expected.

"If you want I can take you around and show you the place." Gauri tells him.

"Hmmm? I thought boys and girls don't talk here."

"My Dad, you know..." Gauri says shaking her head with a chuckle.

"Dad?" Omkara asks surprised. He never imagined a village girl calling her father, Dad... was that more common than he had imagined?

"My father... you met him inside." Gauri reminds him a little shocked.
