Chapter 23: Mizu survives

Setting: East Region

Okura: How are we going to get this book? Do we just walk in there and take it?

Shén: No, I want you to take it without drawing attention.

Jin: Why don't you just take it?

Okura: Yeah, and stealth isn't really my style.

Shén: Oh this is another part of your training.

Jin: Well this is going to be quite easy for me. Okura just follow me.

Okura: Hmph, whatever. Let's just go

Shén: I will be over in that restaurant if you need me.

Jin: Alright, come Okura.

Okura:...

Okura and Jin walk up to the 5 story building, the building was solid black, all the windows shut with 2 guards blocking the door.

Jin: (whispering) Let me do all of the talking.

Okura: Whatever

Okura and Jin walk up to the guards...

Jin: Excuse me, but is the Book of Manning located here?

Guard 1: Yes

Jin: Well can my friend and I go in?

Guard 1: We need to pat you down first.

Jin: By all means.

The guards pat Jin and Okura down.

Guard 1: They're good to go.

Guard 2 nods and opens the door and let's them go inside.

Jin looks around he notices that there are guards everywhere. He walks up to one of the guards asks where is the book located.

Jin: Excuse me sir, but can you tell me where the Book of Manning is located?

Guard: 5th floor.

Jin: Thank you.

Jin and Okura head up to the fifth floor and they see the book, it is on a silk pillow in a glass case, the book is really thick, looking like it contains more than a thousand words. A guard stands on each side of it. Jin examines the whole building walking around all the floors.

Jin: Let's go,

Okura: We didn't complete the mission you idiot.

Jin: We don't have to, well not right now, it will be impossible to even touch the book let alone grab it.

Okura: Whatever, I'm not the one that's going to deal with him.

Jin and Okura walk down the stories and head outside. They walk up to the restaurant that Shén is in.

Jin: We didn't get the book.

Shén: I didn't want you too, I wanted to see if you were smart enough to analyze the building and come up with a plan. And you did haha, good job.

Okura: So we come back tonight?

Shén: That's all on you child, this is part of your training, and I can't hold your hand through this fight.

Jin: Alright, let's come at midnight. Is that alright Okura?

Okura: Yeah, whatever.

Shén: Good.

Back in North Region...

Desean: Shouldn't we wait to go there? I mean we really don't know much about the Chaos Realm, and on top of that your body is still in bad shape.

Ebok: My body is okay... Now at least, my body is starting to get used to the form, so it really doesn't strain me anymore.

Isis: No! Ebok do you here yourself? Akuma made you kidnap the fucking reaper, and now you have the gods after you, people like the guy that came earlier are going to keep coming until you are dead. I know you want to get stronger, but you're already strong enough.

Ebok: Yeah you're right... I'm tripping, this power is really taking over I mustn't rely on it. I'm extremely sorry baby,

Ebok walks up to Isis and holds her. She looks down.

Ebok: Give me a kiss.

Isis: No I'm mad at you.

Ebok: Then why are you hiding your face?

Isis: (blushing) because...

Ebok moves her head up with his chin, and kisses her, but Isis doesn't kiss back.

Ebok: So you're not going to kiss me?

Isis: (Trying not to smile) You shouldn't have made me mad.

Ebok: Well why are you holding back your smile.

Isis: (smiling) I'm... *Giggles* oh forget I can't stay mad at you.

Isis kisses Ebok...

Desean: Aye, can you guys please get a room.

Ebok and Isis stop kissing and laughs

Ebok: Oh we will*smirks*

Isis: foreal *smirks*

Ebok: Hey, yall want to grab something to eat.

Isis: Yesss im starving

Desean: Yeah I could use some food.

Team Surry starts heading towards the closest restaurant.
Meanwhile...

Mizu: *cough* *cough* H.. How could... I L... Lose.

Mizu body starts to heal...

Mizu: Huh? What's this? Hmm it must be mother.

Xinshi appears

Xinshi: What the hell Mizu? That Ebok kid wiped the floor with you.

Mizu: Yeah yeah, can you repair my clothes?

Xinshi: No problem kiddo.

Mizu: Thank you.

Xinshi: Yeah you needed it.

Mizu: Well I can't beat Ebok like this.

Xinshi: Of course dumbass that's why I'm going to train you.

Mizu: You train me?

Xinshi: Of course, I am a God by the way, and plus I have to because Megami told me to.

Mizu: Alright, let's begin right away.

Mizu charges at Xinshi and punches him in the face.

Xinshi: WHAT ARE DOING?!! I SAID I WAS GOING TO TRAIN YOU NOT FIGHT!... Now for a person who can access 100% of your brain you are pretty dumb.

Mizu: Oh Sorry Xinshi.

Xinshi: It's fine kiddo.

Mizu: When will we begin?

Xinshi: Well we can start now, and from now on call me sensei, do not call me Xinshi.

Mizu: Yes understand.
