Chapter 21: Mizu Confronts Ebok

Setting: South Region

Mizu: (thinking) His life force is strong. He must be here!... Yes I can sense it, South Hospital.

Mizu starts on his way to the hospital.

Meanwhile at North Hospital...

Isis: Oh you're finally up.

Ebok: *yawning* What happened?

Isis: I honestly don't know, but I'm certain Akuma had something to do with it.

Ebok: Akuma! Yeah it's coming back to me now, he told me to capture the Reaper.

Isis: The Reaper?

Ebok: Yeah, he's supposed to be this guy who is over the Realm of the Dead. He collects the souls of the dead and brings them there.

Isis: So he was supposed to get Nashi soul.

Ebok: Yeah, but since Akuma has him captive, The Reaper can't get any souls, so that leaves all the souls to Akuma, making him stronger.

Isis: Oh no! That can't be good.

Desean comes into the room.

Desean: That's not good at all.

Ebok: You were listening to us the whole time?

Desean: Yeah, I needed to know wassup, and plus I need to have a better relationship with my teammates.

Ebok: Oh, so you aren't so cold blooded.

Desean: Yeah whatever.

Isis: Oh yeah, Ume dropped from the team.

Ebok: Wow she did?

Isis: Yeah I guess she couldn't handle Nashi's death.

Ebok: So it's 3 of us, oh well that's enough.

Desean: Yeah, 5 was too many anyway.

While Team Surry continues to talk, Mizu arrives at the hospital. He walks up to the receptionist.

Mizu: Can you tell me the room where Ebok is staying?

Receptionist: Yes I can... *checks her computer* He's in room 12B on the first floor.

Mizu: Thank you.

Receptionist: Mhm.

Mizu starts walking towards Ebok's room.

In Ebok's room...

Ebok: Whats wrong baby, your facial expression changed drastically.

Isis: Someone is coming, we must leave.

Ebok: It's Akuma?

Isis: No, this power isn't demon or Tubian energy. We must go now.

Desean: I'll go check it out.

Isis: No please don't let's just leave.

Ebok: I don't have the ability to leave right now baby.

Mizu walks through the door...

Isis: (shaking) This... is the power I was sensing.

Desean and Ebok look over.

Mizu: Are you Ebok?

Ebok: (scowling) Who wants to know?

Mizu: From what I'm sensing you are Ebok. What have you done with the Reaper.

Ebok: Woah this is a big misunderstanding.

Mizu: Refusing to tell me? Then I will beat it out of you.

Ebok: Wait let me explain.

Mizu dashes toward Ebok, but Desean steps in the way.

Desean: If you want a fight then you're going to fight me.

Mizu: Anyone who stands in my way will be terminated.

Desean: (With lightning forming around) Hmph I would like to see you try.

Ebok: (shocked) De...Desean

Desean: Let's take fight somewhere else. Follow me.

Desean jumps out the window and Mizu follows.

Ebok: No, I can't let Desean fight him by hisself. I'm going.

Isis: No baby you can't (sounding sad)

Ebok: Baby, I am a warrior, and I can't let other people fight my battles. I must go and fight Mizu.

Isis: Well how are you going to fight, you can barely move.

Ebok: I have a way.

Isis: Tell me.

Ebok: You will see. Now come with me.

Isis: *sigh* okay baby.

They jump out the window and start to go towards Desean and Mizu.

Mizu: Why are you fighting for him. I am here to fight him not you.

Desean: That's my teammate and friend, and his battles are my battles.

Mizu: Very well then, you will be terminated.

Desean: Hmph, stop talking and show me.

Mizu starts running toward Desean. Mizu jumps and tries to round house kick Desean, but Desean blocks. Mizu touches the ground in a handstand form and kicks Desean in the face. As Desean is stumbling back, Mizu comes with a series of kicks to the face. He finishes his combo with a punch to the jaw that sends Desean flying.

Mizu: Are you fini-

Ebok punches Mizu in the face as he interrupts his sentence.

Ebok: (with his hand stand on Mizu's jaw) I'm the guy you want.

Ebok continues with another punch. He tries to knee Mizu, he catches it.

Mizu: Your punches feel like mosquito bites.

Mizu then kicks Ebok in his chin and then punches him in his stomach. Ebok coughs of blood.

Isis: Ebok!

Desean: Oh no Ebok!

Desean gets up and kicks Mizu in his face.

Desean: Alright play time is over. Lightning of the Sun!

Desean powers up to his sun lightning...

Mizu: Wow his power has risen.

Desean: Let's see if you can keep up now.

Desean sends multiple lightning bolts at Mizu, but he dodges them.

Desean: Why won't you stand still.

Desean charges toward Mizu, but Mizu knees him in the face causing him to stumble back.

Meanwhile...

Ebok:(thinking) As much as I hate to do this, I need your power.

Akuma: Haha, very well. Here.

Akuma gives Ebok his power and his powers awakens.

A reddish black aura starts to appear around also The Devil's Eye awakens.

Isis: Oh no, Ebok.

Ebok: Your fight is with me.
