We pulled into the school parking lot. My eyes widened when I realised that Ariel had parked right next to Adrian.

"What the hell are you doing?" I hissed.

Ariel smirked, "We knew you were going to avoid him. So we're giving you a little push," she explained.

I glared and Ariel just grinned innocently.

I huffed and got out of the car. I looked at Adrian and almost gasped. He looked horrible. He looked like he hasn't slept in days; his hair was a mess and his clothes wrinkled.

"You look like you need a few days sleep," I told him.

Adrian chuckled, "Hello to you too," he said sarcastically.

I blushed.

"Delaney!" I turned to see Cassie.

"Hey Cassie," I greeted.

"Do it! It'll be okay," Cassie told me.

I frowned, "Do what?"

"Tell him about us,"

"What? Do mum and dad know about this?" I was trying to keep my voice low.

Cassie nodded, smiling. Adrian now looked confused. I sighed and turned to him.

"Not here," I murmured.

Adrian then pointed to his bike, grinning.

"I don't have my helmet," I told him.

"Lucky I always have a spare then," and threw a spare helmet at me.

I caught it and put it on. I then climbed onto the bike and mentally sighed as I felt the familiar tingles of touching Adrian. We sped out of the high school parking lot and I had a small idea of where we were going. After a while my guess was correct as we turned down a drive way in the forest.

Adrian parked the bike and we got off. I handed him the helmet and we started walking. To say it was awkward would be an understatement. As we walked I tried to think of the best way to tell him what I was. I fidgeted with the edges of the gloves. When I spotted the gazebo the butterflies in my stomach doubled.

We stood on the gazebo and he waited.

"This is the part where you tell me your deepest darkest secret," he joked.

He didn't know how right he was.

"My family isn't normal," I blurted.

"Isn't everyone's?" Adrian asked.

I shook my head, "You don't get it. God, I don't know how to tell you this. You’re probably going to think I'm crazy," I rambled.

"Just say it," Adrian said softly.

I took a deep, calming breath.

"My family and I... We're witches," I stated.

Adrian stared at me, "I'm sorry. What did you say?" He asked.

"Witches, I know it sounds crazy but I can prove it," I told him.

He looked at me suspiciously, but nodded.

I looked over to the lake. Adrian followed my gaze and I heard gasp as the water lifted and was rounded in a sphere. It slowly travelled to where we standing and I spotted fish swimming about.

"Are you doing this?" Adrian whispered.

I nodded.

Adrian slowly put his hand in the sphere but quickly withdrew from it. I slowly let it fall back into the lake.
