when dad doesn't accept he's wrong.

i know me and my mexican people are gonna celebrate tonight.
anyway, my dad is the type of person who will never admit he is wrong, even though he knows he is.
so he does this thing where he twists your words to make it seem like he's wrong BECAUSE YOU DID SOMETHING TO MAKE IT THAT WAY.
example.
yesterday, the twenty third of december, my sisters and i asked him to take us to the store because we needed bread crumbs. cause i'm cooking dinner tomorrow, with my sisters and i thought i would make something i actually like to eat. so i'm making breaded chicken breast, mashed potatoes, macaroni, biscuits, and other things i can't remember right now.
so i told him exactly this:
"dad, will you take me to the alameda plaza? we need to buy some stuff."
and we were on our way and when i said this, he switched onto the left lane and was about to go into the crummy little plaza where the burger king is.
and i said, "dad, i said ALAMEDA PLAZA."
and he said, "oh well why didn't you say so?"
and i said, "i did."
and so he said, "no, you said the florence plaza."
i know what i said. so i told him. "i said ALAMEDA, the one where the bank is."
so then he got mad at me for 'almost making him go into the wrong plaza'.
how is that my fault?
yeah.
unfair.
