So I've been using wattpad on my laptop for a bit this week and every time I log in, it asks me the same stupid question:
Whether I want to switch now or later into the new wattpad profile.
And you know my history with wattpad changes: it's bad blood.
As a result, I've been saying "HELL NO" every time the thing asks me to change it, and with good reason: THAT THING IS FUGLY.
How many of you have the new profile?

And I was like

It's so weird
I hate how it documents everything you'll do; every vote, every status and whatnot.
I mean not everyone needs to know...lol
The ild profile is not focused on votes or statuses; they're somewhat hidden. When you visit one's old profile, what you'll see more of their description, then their books, then their message board. The picture is tiny in the corner, the status is shoved up even higher than the corner, etc.
But, the new profile is different: the picture is just massive now, with the cover photo thing going on - a bit like the one on twitter - and now you have a dashboard. I think that will make wattpad become more socially-oriented (like Facebook or tumblr), and I have a bit of a problem with that.
I hope the whole essence of reading and writing on here isn't eliminated because of this new piece of shit like srsly.
Like I mean, the thing about the old profile is that personal messaging and writing on people's message boards is such a struggle, but that means I'll concentrate more on reading and writing over socializing...
You get my point?
But now they've introduced this cheap ass version of tumblr/twitter/why so unoriginal
Which they'll ultimately force down my throat.
Until I'll oblige.
It's going to end up like the whole Facebook timeline thing. They kept on saying "have you got the new timeline yet?" And it didn't look like such a good idea but of course many of my friends had it and my profile looked so old so gaaahh I just had to give in
