Don't you just hate how in teenage romance stories when a guy does the girl wrong, and then apologises, she forgives him in an instant?

I mean after he cheats on her and stuff,

The girl is just like, "YAYYY! I forgive you! Let's go and bake rainbow cookies now!"

Like honestly, I find it so annoying. The apologies are so cheesy and insincere.

They just say, "I'm so sorry..." And give her a gift.

Sorry for what? Sorry that you cheated, or sorry that you got caught?

(I saw that in a movie once and I love saying that when I'm mad at people. It's so true!)

I feel like she should have more self-respect than that

LIKE GET OVER YOUR HORNINESS, WOMAN!

And you authors who write books like this, no.

Guys are never that perfect and as smexy as he looks with those puppy dog eyes and a brand new ferrari as a make-up gift for you, it's not right

But yea. These kinds stories imply that girls are balloon heads who can't stand up for themselves.

It's especially common in fan fictions because the writer has got this fucked up idea that the celeb guy is a god, that he's perfect.

Just because he's Dylan O'Brien doesn't mean that it's alright that he did something wrong to you

(But the boy is sex, why lie)

And lol it's like the girl only has two emotions, and they're extreme:

Emotion 1: OMG YOU'RE THE GREATEST AND I LOVE YOU AND WILL NEVER BE MAD AT YOU NO MATTER WHAT

Emotion 2: OMG I HATE YOU FUCKING ARSE BITCH IDIOT IMBECILE WAIT OMG ARE THOSE FLOWERS? BACK TO EMOTION ONE!

I mean she's only ever in love with the guy. There's no feelings of doubt and stuff

He's just ultra-perfect.

And even that's another problem I have: stories always make the girls have issues but the guys? Nah bruh, no issues there. They're perfect all the damn time.

Even in chick flick movies

Part 2:

He broke my heart OMG I FUCKING HATE THE BASTARD! He cheated on me with some sexy waitress and now I can never see him the same way again. All those lies that he told me. All those cover-ups...why was I so blind? I utterly and completely despise him. He was wrong for me all along. He put me through so much, and I cried and cried and cried until I had no more tears.

That's it. I was done with him.

Part 3:

He showed up at my door with guess what - carrots! I cannot believe I was so mad at him, he only had sex with someone his age (31 times), it wasn't such a big deal.

"I overreacted, and I'm sorry." I told him, planting a big kiss onto his lips.

But that's wattpad for you. I know that in life, we have to forgive each other, but forgiving doesn't mean that you just bounce back into full swing after he did shit to you

And even if the guy meant his apology, you've got to chill a bit before jumping into anything.

In fact, here's a bit of advice:

When the guy breaks your heart: first you break his face, hold a grudge, eat with your friends, eat alone, cry...

Then actually get the guts to talk to him and say that you don't know if it will ever be the same and whatnot plus all that emotional DTR

If y'all can overlook his cheating on you that quickly, there's a problem there
