If you've been paying attention, you probably know that I'm in my final year of school which basically spells doom because ----->

University applications.

Please holla at me if you're going through the same struggle/have already gone through it

Now. For those of you who don't know, it's a latttaaaa work. And it gets that much harder for creatives because portfolios are involved - like fuck man, i been shitting myself trying to compose pieces for mine

And so it ANNOYS ME NO END

WHEN WATTPAD CHARACTERS LITERALLY OBSESS OVER A GUY FOR THE WHOLE SCHOOL YEAR AND DOING ZERO MOTHERFUCKING WORK

AND STILL GET INTO THE COLLEGE/UNI THEY WANTED TO GO TO I.E. HARVARD OR PRINCETON LIKE FFS

IT ANNOYYSSSS MEEE

I HAD TO LEARN A WHOLE FUCKING BACH PRELUDE AND FUGUE AND PLAY LIKE A WHOLE BEETHOVEN SONATA LIKE BRUH THEY HAD NO CHILL LIKE FUUUUUUUUUCK MY FINGERS WANTED TO DIEEEE

AND I HAD TO DO ALL THAT BULLSHIT FOR MY AUDITION AND THERE'S STILL NO GUARANTEE THAT I'LL GET IN

BUT NOOOOO WHEN IT'S ON WATTPAD EVERYTHING IS FLAWLESS LIKE SRSLY GAAAHHHH

I think this annoys me mostly because WHY CAN'T IT BE JUST AS FLAWLESS FOR ME

LIKE FLIPPING HELL THESE AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES HAVE GIVEN ME A HEADACHE AND A HALF

BUT NO. THESE WATTPAD MOTHERFUCKING BITCHES JUST KISS WHOEVER THE FUCK AND WHAT DO THEY GET REWARDED FOR IT?

I know this rant stemmed from my own personal issues but fml

Okay we'll go for a round two, and I'll try and be more rational this time.

Regardless of the system of school you're in, final year will always be difficult. There's final exams that signify your finishing of school, and then there are university applications like I'd mentioned, and those require essays (and more essays), filling in pages and pages of basically the same info, and sometimes supplemental information. And not to mention, some require you to do additional exams - Americans and their SATs/ACTs, or the U.K. with their LNATs or whatever. It has probably been the most stressful part of my high school life. No comparison.

My issue with many of these books is that the girls almost always get into their top choice uni without doing anything. Like it makes me feel a bit agitated because before I found myself there, these books made me feel like I was superman, like I would be able to go to Harvard like it was nothing!

But that's not the reality I'm afraid, so don't let these books fool you.

The reality sucks big time. I've applied to most of mine, so wish me luck, but I'm telling ya, it's not daisies and rainbows.
