"what?" i asked shocked. i zoned out taking in what he said.
would you rather be my best friend or my girlfriend? is he asking me to be his girlfriend, is it just a regular would you rather question? maybe i'm just over thinking this too much. maybe so much for my liking
"y/n" ben called. i blinked after a while and gave my attention back to him. "what happened? you left reality for five minutes" he let out a light chuckle and looked away from my eyes.
"i hope my question didn't take you off track"
"uhm- no. it just shocked me a little" i mumbled. "of course it did...i don't even know why i tried" he mumbled sadly.
i heard the vibrations start to enter my hearing as everything turned back on. ben stood up and went to the front door.
"hold on wait" i grabbed his hand to stop him from leaving. "you don't have to answer alright? i get it, you don't want to be seen with someone with a reputation like mine and be named as 'another hookup'"
"i didn't say or think that, ben, and i wouldn't care what other people would think. trust me, if i was another hookup, you wouldn't even be here. you would be off somewhere else not even thinking about me"
"i do think about you. all the time...cause i love you"
"do you? well i did say i would date someone who loves me" i gave him a smile. "so is that a yes?" he said in a low voice leaning in. i nodded filling in the space in between us colliding our lips together.
"holy shit. i've been wanting to do that for so long" he said after we pulled away. i giggle as he pulled me back into another one.
