Thus Jehu destroyed Baal from Israel.
However Jehu did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin, that is, from the golden calves that were at Bethel and Dan.

Jehu did a lot for God and at a critical time. Baal was being worshiped by Israel (Ahab and Jezebel) and God was furious. Jehu helped cleanse Israel of these abominations, or behavior that was displeasing to God.
After ridding Israel of Baal, Jehu still worshiped golden calves. How could God understand this behavior? Worship God, it is that simple. Tell God you love Him.
The LORD bless you and keep you;
The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
