Louis' POV -
Messing with Aria was too much fun, I loved how she got all annoyed when her Mom agreed for the little hangout.
She was locking the door while I walked towards her car. I leaned against it as she unlocked it with the button on the keys, waiting for her to reach the other side.
As I was to open the door, she stopped at her place shutting her eyes close.
"Aria?" I called as I slowly reached her.
"I think my eyelash got in my eye.." she said trying to open it, while starting to panic.
"Hey, hey.. calm down, it's just an eyelash" I said grabbing her forearms.
"I know I-" she said as I cut her off and her left eye started to water.
"Just look at me, try to open it.." I said cupping her cheeks and she opened her eye a bit. With that I blew softly on her eye. "Better?" I asked as she opened it.
"Yeah.." she nearly whispered as our faces were inches away.
Her eyes were watery and the left one was a bit red even, the eyelash on her cheek, with the water.
"Bad eyelash" I said and she chuckled as I took it in my hand and blew it in the air and stepped away from her.
"Thanks.." she said, smiling, and I shrugged, smiling as well.
"You okay now?" I asked and she nodded, as I took my handkerchief and wiped her left tear stained cheek.
"There" I said as I put my handkerchief into my pocket and I swear I saw her cheeks showing a pink shade to them.

Aria's POV -
"There" Louis said, after wiping my cheek from his handkerchief and I couldn't help but blush.
I just met him yesterday and god knows why is he being so nice to me.
Maybe because I'm driving him to the park.
My thoughts were interrupted by Zack, who was standing in front of his house, calling my name.
Yup, My Crush Zack. He's my neighbor and he moved here a few weeks ago.
"Hey Aria!" He said with a smile, which disappeared when he turned to look at Louis.
"Zack, hey.. umm meet Louis, he's Charlotte's brother.." I said and he nodded, while Louis smiled at him confidently.
"Charlotte as in Alex's girlfriend right?" he asked and I nodded, while they shook hands.
"Nice to meet you, she has told me so much about you.." Louis said and I coughed. Why he has to be an idiot a second after being cute.
"Yeah, I told him about all my friends" I said quickly covering up.
"I think we should go now" I added grabbing Louis arm preventing any further conversation.
"Sure, love" he said noticing my hand and smiling amusingly at me.

Louis and I kept arguing through the drive. He tried to make me understand that he just wanted to help me and I kept telling him that it was embarrassing and he didn't need to.
But, he wasn't giving up on it, so I did instead, letting him win the argument, not because I wasn't correct but arguing with him was useless anyway, he's here for like two weeks so maybe I should let him have it his way.
He looks cute as hell but when he speaks, no one could just win the argument.
Whatever.

"Aria.." Louis said grabbing my wrist. "Sorry" He added as I looked to his hand. "Can you walk a little slow..?" he said and I nodded, understanding that his foot wasn't well.
"Yeah, sorry I forgot" I said and smiled.
"It's alright" he replied.
We were sitting on a bench, watching children play. When I noticed that he wasn't looking ahead, I followed his gaze, which lead me to an elderly couple sitting peacefully on a bench on the other side.
"They're cute right.." I said and he turned to me.
"Yeah they are.." he said and sighed looking down.
"Hey, you alright?" I asked due to his sudden behaviour change.
"Hmm? Oh yeah, I'm fine I guess.." he tried to smile.
"Doesn't seem like it.. want to talk about it..?" I asked and he stood silent for a moment and then finally spoke.
"My grandma looked somewhat like her" he said looking at that lady again. "My.. grandparents died in a car accident.. I was three.." he said looking down.
I stayed silent, as I put a hand on his shoulder, not knowing what to say.
"It's okay I'm kind of used to it.." he said giving me a little smile and I smiled back at him.
"You know she always used to tell me stories about a land where dogs and cats could talk, and I used to try to talk to every dog or cat I could possibly find in the park.." he said grinning. "I was an idiot child" he laughed making me laugh as well.
I could only imagine a cute small kid trying so hard to talk to a dog and stomping back to his grandma to tell her they can't talk big momma.
"No you weren't.., I and Alex used to make power puff girls in our childhood with all the good things, but ofcourse we couldn't find Chemical X" I shook my head. "We used to make this soapy mixture and man the disappointment was real" I said smiling back at the memory.
For a second I felt that we weren't just acquaintances, like we knew each other since a long time, laughing together, enjoying our time.
His blue eyes looked brighter in the sunlight, squinting when he laughed, and showing a beautiful shade of blue I've never seen before when he listened to my little stories, with an endearing look in his eyes.
Only after some seconds of smiling at me, he looked behind me, with eyes full of concern.
"Why is she sitting alone..wait she's even crying.." he said as I followed his eyes.
There was a little girl sitting on the bench, crying.
"I think she's lost.." I said and soon we both reached her as Louis sat on the bench beside her.
"Hello there, I'm Louis" he said squatting down to meet the little girl's height.
She just kept looking both of us, but didn't say anything.
"Umm, this is Aria, she's my friend" he said and she smiled a bit at us.
Were we friends? I wondered to myself.
"Can we sit here?" I asked her, and she just scooted to the side, making space for us to sit.
As we sat down, Louis looked up at the sky and said, "Oh my god Aria, there's a rainbow, look!"
It was so dramatic that I didn't have to give it a thought that he was doing it for the girl.
"It's so beautiful!" I tried to say as dramatically gaining the girl's attention.
"Where?" asked the little girl. The innocence of her voice made me melt.
"Oh there" Louis pointed towards the sky as she frowned. "Can you see it?"
"No.." she said.
"That's weird, Aria, you can see it right?" he asked me and I nodded. "Oh wait, I know why you can't see it.." he said and she looked at him curiously. "We can only see it when we're happy" he sighed.
She smiled at the sky and then turned towards us.
"But mom says rainbows only come after rain.. and it's a.. sunny day" she said in a squeaky voice.
"Yeah well this kind of rainbows you can see anywhere, anytime, you wanna know why?"
"Why?"
"Because they're imaginary" Louis shrugged and she chuckled.
"Oh no...." she said shaking her head so fast while laughing.
"So, what's your name sweetheart?" he asked sweetly.
"Cara.." she said hesitantly.
"Did you come here alone?" he asked and she shook her head.
"I came here with my mom.." she said with fresh tears forming in her eyes.
"Where did you see her the last time..?" He asked.
"There.." she pointed towards the other side of the park.
"Let's go and check then?" he asked softly and she nodded.

"Mommy!!" Cara screamed in joy as she ran to her mother who was in tears as well.
She mouthed thank you when she saw us looking at her and we nodded.
We were going to go back when Louis was stopped by little Cara who was grabbing his hand.
"Thank you Louis" she said and hugged him as he squatted down let her hug him.
"Thank you too Aria.." she said turning to me, smiling.
"You're welcome, don't leave your mom's hand again okay?" I said and she nodded.
"I won't I promise" she said.

I couldn't help but admire Louis for what he did today. I won't lie, I was mad at him for calling my mom like that but as the day dawned, he held all the thoughts in my head. He could be so charming when he wanted to be.
I genuinely enjoyed every minute of being in the park with him, who knew a children's park could be a place to hangout for grown ups as well.
Also, it's nice when he's being nice, and not an idiot for no reason.
"Thanks for driving me today.." Louis said as we entered the house.
"You're welcome" I replied.
"But wait, I'm not going to thank you, it's your mom I should be thanking.." he said crossing his arms.
"Excuse me..?" I said and he chuckled.
"Fine thanks for driving me Ari, I had fun today" he said and walked past me.
Ari?
It sounded so different in his British accent.
A good different.
