*2 months later – June
Lola's P.O.V.
Things have been so crazy around here lately. Day after day I've been going from interviews to signings and recording sessions. I haven't had a relaxing day in a while until now. It's been about 2 months since I've seen Zayn and the rest of the boys so I decided to take a trip to see them. Right now they're in NYC and it's one of my favorite cites so what could be better. I informed Liam that was I coming but I made sure to tell him not to tell other boys, especially Zayn. Vera is joining me as well. My dad's been home for a while but he says he's not ready for traveling yet so he decided to stay behind, and my parents sent Addison to my aunt's house in Beverley hills.
"Vera are you coming?!" I screamed from the bottom of the stairs.
"Can you wait one damn minute.!? Shit." she yelled back.
Vera's been acting weird and snippy this whole morning. I just shrugged it off and walked to my car. As I was waiting for Vera, I decided to call Zayn.
"Hello?" he answered.
"Hi babe." I said.
"Hi love. How are you?" he asked.
"I'm good. What are you up today?" I said.
"Oh nothing much. We have 5 days off and I'm just gonna spend it sitting in the hotel room. I wish you could come visit me." he added.
"I wish I could too but I'm so busy. I promise I will come next time you have time off." I said.
It made me laugh to myself because he has no idea I'm coming.
"I really miss you. I miss seeing your face and hearing your voice makes me miss you more." I added.
"Well let's get off the phone then before I start crying." he murmured into the phone.
Hearing him say that he was gonna cry broke my heart.
"Don't cry babe. I do have to go though. I miss you and I'll talk to you later." I said.
"Bye sweetie." he said and hung up. I looked at my phone and it was exactly 10:30. By the looks of it we were gonna be in NYC around 6ish.
Vera finally shut the door to the house and walked into my car.
"Took long enough." I said.
"Shut up." she snapped.
I gave her a strange look and she just stared out the window.
"Vera, why are you wearing Addison's bracelets?" I asked.
She quickly rolled down her sleeve and looked at me.
"She let me borrow them. Why does it matter?" she snapped.
I shrugged off her rudeness and drove to LAX. Thankfully we were able to board our flight right away and we didn't have to sit in the airport. We checked in our luggage, went through security, and boarded our flight. I was so happy it was going to be a short flight because it only takes 6 hrs to get to NYC from L.A. I fell asleep the entire way there and eventually Vera was shaking me and telling me it was time to go.
"Come on. Time to get off the plane." she snapped.
I grabbed my carry on and pulled out my phone so I could text Liam.
"Hey I just landed at the JFK airport. - L"
"Sweet! I'll be there as soon as possible to pick you up! - Liam xx"
Vera and I walked to the luggage pick up and found our stuff. We decided to sit down on the bench and wait for Liam. She was acting so weird today, but I wasn't going to let her spoil my trip.
Liam's P.O.V.
I pulled into the airport parking lot and instantly jumped out of the car. I was so excited to see Lola and even Vera. I haven't seen Lola in 2 months and I know the rest of the boys are going to be super excited to see her. I walked in and saw her right away. She still had her beautiful tan skin and her hair looked blonder.
"Lola!" I shouted.
She turned her head and a huge smile appeared on her face and then she got up and ran towards me.
Lola's P.O.V.
I was awkwardly looking around when I heard a familiar voice call my name.
"Lola!" I heard a voice shout from behind me.
I turned around and saw Liam's smiling face staring at me. I got up and ran towards him and he held his arms open for me and caught me. I hugged him tightly and he stroked my hair. Then he set me down gently and looked into my eyes.
"How have you been love?" he asked.
"I've been great. Really busy though. What about you?" I asked.
"I've been awesome. The tour is going great." he smiled.
"That's wonderful. Well let's head out. Vera come on!" I hollered.
Vera got up from her seat and dragged her luggage over.
"Uhh Vera. Why didn't you grab my luggage?" I asked.
She walked right past me and didn't even acknowledge me.
"What's up with her?" Liam asked.
"I have no idea. She's been acting this way since we left home." I explained.
"Maybe she'll cheer up once we get to the hotel." he suggested.
"Ya maybe." I said.
I walked over to where I had been sitting and grabbed my roll away suitcase. Liam took it from me and we walked out to his car. Without asking, Vera just opened the trunk and threw her stuff in the back. She then hopped in the backseat. I don't understand what is wrong with her. Liam then lifted my suitcase into the trunk and then walked to my side of the car and opened my door.
"Thank you." I smiled.
He walked to the driver's side and we drove to the hotel.
About 30 minutes later we arrived at the hotel. My heart started racing when I realized I would be seeing Zayn in a matter of minutes.
"Well we're here. Let's go." he smiled.
Niall's P.O.V.
"Lads, where has Liam run off to?" I asked.
"Who knows. Ever since him and Dani called it quits he's been acting different." Louis said.
"Zayn's gone too. Where is everyone?" I asked.
"Well Zayn went downstairs to go call Lola. He really misses her." Harry said.
Now that I think about it, I miss Lola too. I plopped myself on the couch when the door suddenly unlocked.
"Lads?" Liam asked as he entered the door.
"We're in here Lili!" I screamed.
He walked around the corner with a huge grin on his face.
"I have a surprise." he said.
"Ugh, Li. We're not in the mood for surprises." said a sleepy Louis.
"Well I guess if you're not in for surprises I'll have to send this one back to L.A." he said.
We all looked at each other in confusion, when Liam tugged on something around the corner and our eyes got huge when we saw her.
Lola's P.O.V.
"Lads!" Liam called as we entered the door.
"We're in here Li!" Niall screamed back.
"Come on Lo." he said while taking my hand. "I have a surprise!"
I could hear Louis yawning "Ugh Li. We're not in the mood for surprises."
"Well I guess if you're not in for surprises I'll have to send this one back to L.A." he said.
Liam tugged on my arm and I appeared from around the corner.
"Oh come on guys. I'm a great surprise." I smiled.
"Lola!" they all screamed at once.
Niall, Harry, and Louis all ran towards me and formed one giant group hug around me.
"Okay guys. You're crushing me." I said.
"Sorry Lo." they said.
Each of them let go and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I then looked around but didn't see Zayn anywhere.
"Guys, where's Zayn?" I asked.
"He went downstairs to make a phone call to you." Harry said while poking my nose.
"Well hey Addison?" Louis said.
"Lou it's Vera, not Addison." I said.
They looked at each other in confusion and I raised an eyebrow. Why did they get the impression it was Addison?
"Oh sorry Vera. How are you sweetie?" he asked as he leaned in for a hug.
She quickly pushed him away and scowled. "I'm fine. Can I have the room key?" she asked while holding her hand out to me.
"Ya here." I said.
She ripped it from my hand and walked down the hall to our room.
"What's her deal? That doesn't seem like the same Vera." Harry asked.
"I think her and Mads might have broken up. She's been acting weird ever since this morning." I said.
"Lola, I can't believe you're here!" Niall screamed and hugged me.
"Someone text Zayn and tell him to get his ass up here." Louis laughed.
Harry grabbed his phone and instantly texted Zayn. Within a minute he got a reply and Zayn said he was on his way.
Harry turned to me and smiled "He's coming up." he said.
My heart started pounding and I got butterflies inside.
"Go sit over on the couch Lo!" Niall commanded.
I hopped over the couch and landed butt down on the seat.
"Nice jump." Niall laughed.
"Ya know me. I've got mad skills." I laughed.
Zayn's P.O.V.
Ugh why isn't Lola answering her phone. She's not even answering her home phone. I just really want to talk to her right now. Suddnely my cell phone buzzed in my pocket and I saw I got a text from Harry.
"Get yo ass up here DJ Malik we need to discuss something. - Harry"
"Yes sir. - Zayn"
I walked to the elevator and hit the 18th floor. As I got out of the elevator, I was walking towards our room when I passed a girl that looked just like Vera and Addison. There's no way it was one of them. I then opened the door and the boys were all staring at me.
"Sup lads?" I asked.
"Come on. We need to talk band stuff." Harry said.
Liam motioned for me to come sit down on the couch. When I turned the corner I stopped dead in my tracks as I saw a familiar blonde sitting on the couch and the back of her head was facing me.
Lola's P.O.V.
I was sitting on the couch when I heard Zayn walk through the door.
"Sup lads." he said.
"Come on we need to talk band stuff." Harry said and walked over to me.
Liam motioned for Zayn to come over and I could tell he had stopped walking when he saw me. I stood up and slowly turned around to reveal my face. I smiled at him when our eyes locked.
"Lola!" he hollered and ran towards me. He literally jumped over the couch and landed right in front of me. He then pulled my body towards him and hugged me tightly. I ran my fingers through his hair and squeezed him tightly. He pulled away and looked into my eyes. I forcefully pressed my lips onto his and created a short pain but I didn't care. As long as he was next to me and his lips were on mine I didn't care.
"I can't believe you're here." he whispered in my ear. "You told me you couldn't come!"
"Well if I would have told you it wouldn't have been a surprise." I chuckled.
He looked into my eyes and then down to my lips and pulled them towards his again. He bit my bottom lip and then my lips turned into a smile and I started laughing.
"I'm so glad you're here." he said while looking into my eyes. He pushed a strand of my hair back and kissed my forehead.
"I'm yours for a week." I smiled.
"Awesome. Oh by the way, did I just see one of the twins walk by?" he asked.
"Ya it was Vera. She came with me." I said.
"She didn't say hello to me or anything." he said.
"Ya she's been acting weird ever since we left. I think her and Mads might have broke up." I explained.
Vera's P.O.V
My sister is such an idiot. She has no idea that I'm not Vera. Yes I gave my own twin a high dosage of a sleeping pill so she wouldn't wake up and I took her place. I was supposed to go Beverley Hill's at my aunts house but my parents sent Vera there instead without a phone or anything. I took her phone, her bag which had her license, and half of her clothes. My mom is going to think she's really me so my plan will work out perfectly. I warned Lola that if she didn't stay away from Zayn she was going to regret it. My plan is coming together perfectly. I heard the door unlock and I knew I had to quit the bitchy girl act and act more like Vera.
"Hey sis." Ugh this is harder than I thought.
"Hey Ver." she said walking in. I noticed she had brought Zayn and she was holding his hand. Man I hate her.
"Hey Zayn." I smiled. He's so hot.
"Hello Ver. How have you been?" he asked leaning in for a hug. I hugged him tightly and got lost in the hug. He smells so good. He tried pulling away but I just kept hugging him.
"Uh Ver." he said.
"Ver." Lola said sternly. "Vera!"
I snapped back to reality and laughed.
"Er..Uh...Sorry." I stuttered.
Zayn walked back to Lola's side and kissed her cheek. I noticed she had a bunch of red marks on her neck. What a slut. She couldn't even wait to get in her room to have her boyfriend give her hickies. I watched as he slid her suitcase under the bed for her. Wow can't even put her suitcase down. She then laid down and he walked to the other side of the bed and snuggled up against her and started spooning with her. I think I'm gonna barf.
"I'm going to the lobby." I snapped.
Lola's P.O.V.
Zayn and I walked into my room and we found Vera unloading her suitcase.
"Hey sis!" she called out acting all peppy.
"Hey Ver." I said.
"Hello Ver." Zayn said walking towards her. He gave her a light hug and when he tried pulling away she held on to him.
"Uh Ver." he said.
"Ver. Vera!" I yelled.
"Er..Uh..Sorry." she said and pulled away. Zayn walked back towards me and put my suitcase under the bed. I let out a loud yawn and laid down. He then walked to the other side of the bed and laid behind me and he snuggled into me and then we started spooning.
"I'm going to the lobby." Vera said and threw her bag over her shoulder. She slammed the door and walked out.
"Ahh alone at last." I smiled and turned towards Zayn.
He started snoring and pretended to be passed out. So I crawled on top of him and hovered over him. "Zaynnny. Wake up." I said. "I'm gonna mess up your hair."
He suddenly jolted up and flipped me over so he was on top. "Don't you dare!" he said and pinned my arms to the bed. I looked at him wide eyed and started laughing.
"Oh so you think this is funny?" he said and started tickling me and I couldn't stand it anymore.
"Zayn stop! Please!" I laughed. He still had my arms pinned down so I was defenseless.
"Uncle! Uncle! I cried. This made him start laughing and he leaned down and kissed me. I grabbed the front of his shirt so he was closer to me. He was laying on top of me and I had my right hand in his hair and my left on the back of his neck. His tongue grazed my bottom lip, begging for entrance, but I denied him. He then squeezed my thigh tightly and it made me let out a small squeal.
"Babe, you can't just tease me like that." he whined.
"Sorry Z, but you're gonna have to wait." I said and jumped off the bed.
He crossed his arms and sat there like a child.
"Come on little boy. Let's go do something." I said.
He looked up at me and laughed. I reached out my hand for his and he took it. Hand in hand we walked back to his room.
