"Merry Christmas!"
I chuckled as I heard Adam scream, and I saw him stop right near the Christmas tree with Sarah. Both of them searched for their Christmas gifts.
I look at both of them behind the kitchen counter, sipping my hot chocolate.
"Ooh! I got one from daddy!" Adam exclaimed as he ripped the wrapping. I smiled thinly, seeing him unwrapping the Christmas gift he got from Mark.
This is our first Christmas without Mark. Before this, it was always with him. Even though he'll be coming home late Christmas because they will have a performance at KBS or SBS or MBC, Adam will still stay up late to wait for Mark.
"Woah!" Adam wowed loudly while throwing away the wrapper.
I just smile and continue to prepare breakfast with Jasmine. Adrian and Cavin went out early in the morning. We also don't know what the purpose of them going out early.
"Don't worry if you think you don't have any Christmas gifts," Jasmine said to me.
I chuckled, "I don't really mind, Jas."
"Oh, deep inside you, you mind it," Jasmine smirked.
I grinned and shook my head, "Nah, I don't mind much."
Jasmine just laughed it off.
"Good morning and Merry Christmas, everyone!" Mom exclaimed.
I smiled as I looked at her.
"Merry Christmas, grandma!" Both Adam and Sarah said before running to hug mom.
I simply smiled and shook my head.
While I was serving a simple breakfast on the kitchen counter, I noticed Adrian and Cavin had arrived from outside. However, there was another car behind them.
"Didn't they just use a car just now?" I asked Jasmine.
"That's not our car, definitely," Jasmine replied.
"Oh, they are here!" Mom said before walking towards the house door.
I looked at Jasmine, and she shrugged, "No idea."
"This is suspicious," I whispered.
Both Jasmine and I stare at the car outside. I cursed under my breath when I saw Tengku Hassanal and his mother come out of the car.
"Wow," Jasmine muttered.
"What have I put myself in..." I mumbled as I slowly squatted down behind the kitchen counter.
Jasmine chuckled, "It's not that bad, Sun."
"I'm lucky the king isn't here," I said.
"Well, the future king, a.k.a the person who is trying to engage with you, is here," Jasmine said.
"Oh no," Sunny sighed and shook her head.
"Come on. Let's greet them. We're gonna look like we're maids if we just stay here," Jasmine patted my head and walked out from behind the counter.
With a heavy heart, I get up and walk behind Jasmine.
I raised my eyebrows when I saw Tengku Hassanal handing mom a bouquet of flowers. Jasmine gave me a glance before a smirk.
"And these are both my daughters," mom said when Jasmine and I approached them.
"Jasmine and Sunny, right?" The queen said.
I bowed and smiled, "Your majesty."
The queen chuckled as I shook her hands, "Please just call me aunt or mommy."
I looked at her and nodded, "Alright, aunt."
"You're even prettier in person," the queen said.
I laughed, "Thank you."
"This is not our first time meeting, right?" she asked.
"Yes, we met at the UN Meeting a few times, I think," I said to her.
"Exactly. You're getting prettier every time I see you in person," She said.
"Aunt, don't compliment her too much. She'll grow horns on the head," Cavin said.
I glared at him as he entered the house.
The queen and the others laughed.
"Don't mind them, please. You know, siblings," mom said before leading the queen towards the kitchen and entertainment area. It's just next to each other.
I look at Jasmine, and I look back at her. She looked at Adrian, and Adrian looked back at her.
I cleared my throat before walking back into the kitchen.
Please don't make this awkward.

"Who's playing the piano?" I asked.
"See it for yourself," Jasmine smiled before walking away.
I peeked through the wall and raised my eyebrows. Both Sarah and Adam were with Tengku Hassanal at the piano. Both were watching him playing the piano.
After some time, I realized the song he was playing on the piano was not a randomly chosen song. He played the Liebestraume. A romance song. The song took inspiration from poetry. Liebestraume is translated to dreams of love.
I watched and listened to him play until the end of the song. I left after he finished playing and went to the kitchen area. Mom and the queen were chatting in the entertainment area.
I was just about to pour myself a glass of orange juice when mom asked me.
"Sunny, why don't you and Hassanal go out for archery?"
"Hah?!" I replied. "Archery? On Christmas day?"
"The club is open anyways," Mom said.
At the same time, Tengku Hassanal enters the entertainment area.
"Son, don't you want to go for archery?" The queen asked.
"Or you two can just go out anywhere you want," Mom continued.
After pouring a glass of orange juice, I put back the juice box in the refrigerator.
"I think Cavin and Adrian can bring him around instead of me," I said.
"Adrian and I are going to run some errands," Jasmine said behind me.
"Cavin?" I asked.
"Cavin left to meet his friends from college years ago," Jasmine said.
I blinked a few times before looking at mom. She gave me a forced look. She was forcing me to say yes. I exhaled and nodded, "Alright. Tengku, let's go out."
Jasmine suddenly coughed loudly, making me turn towards her, "What happened?"
She coughed while shaking her head, "N-Nothing."
"You sure?" I asked her, and she nodded.
"You surprised me by calling him Tengku," Jasmine whispered.
I rolled my eyes, "As if you're not used to it."
"Good luck, and may you two have fun," Jasmine cleared her throat and tapped my shoulder before walking away.
"Thank you," I said softly.
I looked at Tengku Hassanal, and he looked back at me.
"Let me grab my things, and we can leave after that," I told him.
"Okay," he nodded.
I went back upstairs and grabbed a few things and went back downstairs.
"You ready to leave now?" I asked him.
He who was sitting on the couch turned to look at me, "Yeah."
"Where are you two going?" Mom asked.
I looked at Tengku Hassanal before looking back at mom.
"Archery? Shooting? Horseriding? Something that a royal person would actually do," I said before glancing at Tengku Hassanal.
"Well, you two have a good date," the queen said.
I raised my eyebrows as the two women laughed softly.
I nodded, "We'll leave now then. See you later."
We bid goodbyes and left the area. I went outside and towards the garage.
"We'll take the Mercedes," I said to Tengku Hassanal.
"I'm fine with whatever car we're using," he said.
We entered the car and I started the engine.
"Horse riding or archery?" I asked him and turned to him.
"What do you love the most?" he asked.
I gave a small smile, "Let's go horseriding since it's been a while since I do it."
"Up to you," he replied and nodded.

"Miss Sunny?"
I turned towards the voice and smiled.
"Hi, Vedran," I chuckled and shook hands with him.
"It's been so long!" he said.
"I've brought a friend," I said to him and turn towards Tengku Hassanal.
Vedran looked at me with an eyebrow raised.
"Tengku Hassanal, right?" he whispered softly.
I laughed, "Yes."
Tengku Hassanal smiles as he shook hands with Vedran.
"I'm Sunny's long-time friend. She always comes here when she needed that 'healing'," Vedran said as he emphasize the healing word.
"Healing?" Tengku Hassanal asked.
I laughed and pushed Tengku Hassanal away from Vedran, "You don't need to know about that. Come on, let's go. Vedran! Give me my sleeping beauty!"
"Got it!" Vedran laughed.
"What do you mean I don't need to know about it?" Tengku Hassanal asked with a chuckle.
I shrugged before walking beside him.
"I'll tell you about it later," I said to him before walking towards the stable.
"Do tell me about it later," he said.
I look at him and chuckle, "I'll think about it."
We reached the stable and Vedran was pulling my favourite horse out of the stable. I put on the shoes provided and also some other safety guards that needed to wear.
"Does he still remembers me?" I asked Vedran as I picked an apple in my hand.
"Try him," Vedran replied as I approach the horse.
"Hey, Tucker," I said softly as offered the apple to him. He sniffed it for a little while before eating it.
I let my hand be in front of Tucker as he eats and when he was done, he sniffed my hand and walked closer to me. I gently patted his neck area and caress him.
"He remembers you already," said Vedran.
I chuckled and patted him for a little while. Vedran then showed Tengku Hassanal the other horses. I slowly lead Tucker outside and make sure he's comfortable for a walk.
After a while, I got onto Tucker and started to go on a walk. I brought a few apples with me to give Tucker some treats as we have some time together. After 2 rounds in the field, I went back to the stable to find Tengku Hassanal riding a horse already.
"Well, looks like Belle loves Tengku Hassanal already. He didn't even give Belle an apple and Belle already shows interest in him," Vedran told me.
"Well, someone has the smell that animals love," I said before Vedran snorted.
I smirked before looking at Tengku Hassanal.
"Funny, huh?" he replied with a stern tone.
I swallowed and cleared my throat.
"Where can I get the archery and arrow?" I asked Vedran.
"It's at your usual place, Sun," he replied.
"The house is still there? I thought mom told me that you guys change it into a container?" I asked Vedran.
"It is a container now. But all your thigns are still there," said Vedran.
I smiled and nodded, "Thank you."
"All the layout are the same. So, where you left it, it's there," he told me.
"Thank you, so much."
"You're most welcome. Go and have fun. You two have fun and just don't mess up the container okay?" Vedran said to me and winked before walking away.
"HEY! We're not!" I exclaimed.
"Said the one who is definitely in love with the future king of Malaysia," Vedran said with a loud voice.
"You bit-" I stopped when I realize Tengku Hassanal was looking at me.
I sighed and shook my head, "Ignore him please. He's too friendly sometimes."
"I don't mind," Tengku Hassanal said before chuckling.
"Alright. Come on, let's go," I said before lightly kicking Tucker's body and we walked.

I stopped Tucker when we arrive at a small container place outside the field.
"What's this place?" Tengku Hassanal asks.
"Well, this was once a place where I put a lot of my things here," I told him before getting down from the horse. I tied him to the nearest tree.
"Whose place is this actually? It's like all the staff know who you are. And you look like you're used to this place," he said. I smiled and open the door to the container.
"You'll know when you get inside here," I told him as I entered the container.
I was surprised to see some photo frames on the wall.
"Wow, this is so clean and neatly arranged," he commented.
I walk towards the side of the couch and smile when I saw the bow and arrow. I turn to look at Tengku Hassanal and saw that he was looking at a photo frame.
I went to him and look at the photo frame. I smiled before taking it off the hook.
"That's me, that's my dad, that's my brothers, Adelia and my mom," I said while pointing at the ones in the photo around the frame.
"How old were you?" he asked.
"Around 13 years old, I think. Dad used to love horseriding a lot. He and mom loved horseriding a lot. This is our place where we hangout every weekend," I said.
"Until when did you come here?" he asked.
"Until I left for South Korea," I replied. I sighed and shook my head as I put it back on the hook.
"Come on, let's go. Let me show you the route I've been using with Tucker since I do horseriding," I said as I walk out of the container.
"Is that a real bow and arrow?" he asked while pointing at the ones behind me.
"What do you think? Come on, faster!" I said before leading Tucker towards the forest. I made Tucker gallop faster. Tengku Hassanal was also following me closely behind.
"Alright, Tucker. You know the drill," I said to Tucker as I took out an arrow from the bag I brought. I carefully put the arrow on the bow and got ready to shoot. After a hill, I saw a target and let go of my arrow and it shot the middle of it.
"Bulleyes!" I exclaimed and turned to my back. Tengku Hassanal smirked and lead Belle to go faster and went beside me.
"You think you're the only one can do it?" he asked.
"Well, I do think I'm the only one for now," I said to him.
He motioned to me to give him the bow and arrow. I handed him it before letting him go in front of him.
"One in a few meters!" I said to Tengku Hassanal.
"Got it," he replied.
We passed a stream before the target was seen by eyes. I watched as he pulled the bow and let it go, also getting a bullseye. I scoffed when he looked at me with a smirk on his face.
Our horses galloped through the forest till we reached the end which was the beach.
As i was riding through the seaside, Tucker suddenly neighed and decided to rise his body up high which caused ne to fall off him and land on the sand.
I hissed as I sat on the ground and brush off the sand on my elbow and arm.
"Did you get hurt?" Tengku Hassanal asked me.
"Yeah, probably my ass." I replied but soon realized the 'too unfiltered' words of mine.
"It's fine," he said. Probably noticing my change of reaction.
"It's been a long time since Tucker had a great time with me. Probably that's why he got so excited and proud of what he's achieved today." I said.
"Come on," Tengku Hassanal offered his hand and I took it.
He helped me up and I went to Tucker. I gave him an apple as a treat. Sometimes, you can't predict animals. Even people. You can't predict them. That's why it's always good to be prepared.
