You watched from Jacob perform at his concert, and you noticed his eyes were glossy as if he was crying. His voice cracked as he sang and he looked down to the ground. You looked at him with concern as he continued singing, although you knew he was crying. He finished the song looking up. He had tears on his cheeks and his voice was shaky as he spoke.

"I'm sorry guys, but excuse me for a moment," he said before setting his guitar down and walking to you.

"Jacob what's wrong?" you asked as you ran a hand through his hair. He wiped his eyes, leading you backstage.

"I don't know really," he said, shrugging as he sat down.

"Are you okay?" you asked, taking his hand in yours. He nodded, motioning for you to sit down beside him. You sat down, and he rested his hand on your knee.

"I'm just really stressed," he said. "I feel like I'm not doing good enough for my fans."

"Jacob, you're doing amazing," you said, wiping under his eyes with your thumb.

"Really?" he asked and you could hear the hope in his voice.

"Yes baby," you said, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. "Your fans are so proud of you, and they don't wanna see you like this. Now put that smile back on your face because me and your fans love you, okay?"

A smile formed on his face as he pulled you into a tight hug. "I love you so much," he mumbled into your sweatshirt.

"I love you more, now go give your fans an amazing show," you said, pulling him up. As he walked back on stage, you heard the screams and questions of what was wrong.

"I just needed a few seconds with my girl I guess, she knocked some sense into me," he said, looking over to you with a grin. You smiled back, watching as he began his next song. You were so proud of him, no matter how emotional he got sometimes.
