You sat with your boyfriend Nash in your room, watching movies. You were currently watching mean girls and quoting every line. When the movie ended, you got out of Nash's grip. "Nash, do you want some food?" you asked. "Get me some chips please babe," he said as you went downstairs. You grabbed a bag of Doritos and some drinks and you were about to go back upstairs when you heard a knock on the door. You looked through the peephole, seeing a man with a dazed look in his eyes as if he had been on drugs.

"Nash! Come down here please!" you yelled, your voice trembling.

"Open the door now or I'll shoot you!" the guy yelled, beating on the door.

"What's that noise babe?" Nash asked as he came down the stairs. You pointed towards the door where Nash looked through the peephole.

"He has a gun," Nash mouthed, careful to not make any noise. He pulled his phone out of his pocket, dialing 911.

"Open the damn door!" the guy yelled, making your hands shake.

Nash quietly talked on the phone to 911, as he held your hand. He set the phone down, saying that the police would be here as soon as possible.

"Come here," he mouthed, pulling you into his arms. He kissed the top of your head, just as you heard a gun shot. A scream escaped your lips as Nash held you tighter.

You felt tears slide down your cheeks, your hands shaking.

"Don't cry baby," Nash whispered, kissing you softly. "I'm right here, I'll protect you."

You heard the sirens in a distant and you watched as the guy was arrested.

"Are you okay?" Nash asked, intertwining your fingers.

"Yeah, still shaky but I'll be okay," you said, letting a laugh escape your lips.

"You know I'd never let anyone hurt you baby girl," he said, kissing your forehead. "I'd risk my life just to save your baby."

"I love you so much Nash," you said, hugging him tightly.

"I love you too babe."
