You stared at the pregnancy test in disbelief; you couldn't believe that you were finally pregnant. After trying for almost 5 months, you and Shawn had almost given up hope. You couldn't wait until Shawn go got home so you could tell him.

You sat patiently on the couch, anxiously waiting Shawn's arrival. You were nervous to tell Shawn about the baby; you knew he wanted a baby, but you just didn't know how to tell him. You wanted it to be a surprise, but at the same time, you just wanted him to know.

2 hours later, you heard Shawn's car pull into the driveway and your heart started racing. You took a few deep breaths before Shawn walked in the door.

"Hey babe," he said as he walked in. He walked over to you, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead.

"Hey, um I have some news," you said and Shawn automatically tensed up. You pulled him to sit down beside you, and you rested your hand on top of his. You had a sympathetic smile on your face, only trying to trick Shawn into thinking something was wrong. You were trying not to laugh at his scared face. You kind of felt bad for tricking him like this, but at the same time, you thought it was hilarious.

"There's someone else," you explained and Shawn's face dropped. "We can't be 'us' anymore."

"Wh-what?" Shawn stuttered, his eyes glistening with tears. You felt horrible for making him feel like this, but hopefully he would find the humor in it. "Why?"

"I'm sorry," you said, looking down at your hands. "I just need someone else right now."

"W-who is it?" Shawn stuttered, and you brought his hand too your lips, kissing it.

"It's- it's, our new baby!" you exclaimed with a bright smile.

Shawn was dumbfounded and you couldn't help but burst into laughter. "I hate you," he said which only made you laugh more.

"Admit it, that was pretty funny," you said through your laughs.

"Ha ha, so funny," he sarcastically said before wrapping his arms around you. "I can't believe we're finally having a baby."

"I know, I'm so excited," you said leaning into Shawn's shoulder.

"You scared me though" Shawn said with a chuckle. "I thought the girl of my dreams was leaving me."

"I would never leave you," you whispered, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. "I'm yours forever."
