Writing really fills me up with overwhelming bliss. It is the only thing that gives me a special excitement. Maraming tao ang nag-inspire sa ‘kin sa pagsusulat that I would like to send my immeasurable love and gratitude. Hindi ako magiging si Jahric Lago ngayon, if not because of the following:

Almighty God, for giving me the passion for writing. It all started as a dream but because of your blessings, I have blossomed to become a writer. Salamat po dahil ang lakas ko sa inyo at hindi ninyo ako binigo kailanman. I love you, God!

To my beloved parents: Cresencia Lago and Ricky Lago, for spreading the news around our neighborhood dati that I won in a writing contest, that I am writing stories, and that my manuscript will now be published. You both are the best “marketing agents” a person could ever have. Alam ko super proud kayo sa lahat ng achievements ko. Nagpapasalamat ako na kayo ang naging parents ko, millions of kids will be over-the-top jealous because I have you two and they don’t. I’m so blessed to have you both. Thanks for creating Jahric Lago, and somehow writing most parts of my life story.

To my siblings: Kristina Canlas-Omanito and Kristopher Canlas, for being there as we grow up. Kahit na may mga unting tampuhan dati you guys are still the best ate and kuya. Thank you for all your support. Mahal ko kayo.

To my pamangkins: Rain Justine Canlas, Recca Canlas, Raven Canlas, Ranma Canlas, Dylan Red Omanito, and Franz Vinese Omanito, thank you for always cheering me up. Kahit na makukulit kayo, you always brings happiness to my life. Kaya naman mahal na mahal ko kayo.

To my mentors in writing: Carlota Panganiban, Robert Alegre, and especially Emil Daroy, for always believing in me and guiding me all the way. Hindi kayo nawalan ng pag-asa sa ‘kin. Thank you sa friendship and undying support. The best kayo!

To PSICOM Publishing Inc., for giving me a chance to become a published author through Heartbreakers: Special Edition, when my short story ‘She Still Loves Her’ won grand prize.
