Chapter 128

"Shut uppp" she laughs

"When has life ever been this good? Something had to have happened last night." I smirk

"No" she rolls her eyes

"I'm your best friend why can't you just-" suddenly the downstairs bathroom opens from down the hall.

Kayla gives me a look to shut up as Nick walks out,
"Morning."

"Morning" I smile, "Soo.. when did you guys get up?"

Kayla pulls out her phone and begins scrolling through Twitter whole Nick gives me a questioning look.

"I got up like two hours ago." Nick shrugs

"No work today?" I ask

He shakes his head, "Testing."

"Oh" I nod

"What about you sky?" Kayla eyes me, "Do you have something to do today?"

"Yeah I have a shoot in Calabasas around noon.. you should come" I say

"No thanks" she shakes her head

"Alright.. well When I get back I was gonna upload a YouTube video then maybe record another one. Wanna join?" I offer

"Maybe" she replies

"I'm thinking maybe a Q&A or like a makeup routine. Something simple for now." I shrug

"Okay I'll think about it" she nods

"Want a smoothie?" Nick asks us

"Yeah" we agree

As Nick makes smoothies I pull Kayla up and bring her to the formal living room so Nick can't hear us.

"Sooo" I sit us down on the couch, "Spill. What happened?"

"We just cuddled" she shrugs, "We talked for awhile then watched a movie and in the process he wrapped his arm around me and we started cuddling."

"Did you kiss?" I ask

"No" she shakes her head

"Ooooooh" I tease her, "y'all are gonna be a couple I know it."

"Maybe" she smiles hopefully

"Smoothies are ready" nick announces

"That quick?" I say while walking into the kitchen

"All I had to do was add extra ingredients so there's enough for you" He shrugs, "then blend it."

"Nice" Kayla smiles

Kayla sits down as I look at Nick then Kayla then back at Nick. Nick gives me a weird look while handing me my smoothie.

"Thanks" I smile

"No problem.." he replies, "Adym still asleep?"

I nod, "Yeah. I think he might go with me to my shoot today but if he sleeps in longer he might not."

"So how long is the shoot gonna take?" Kayla asks

"Around 1-3 hours" I answer

"Damn" nick says, "That long?"

"Yeah it all depends" I sip my smoothie

Reaching for my phone, I check the time and decide to get ready.

"Okay if you need me imma be upstairs." I announce

"Do they do your makeup?" Nick questions

"I mean it depends. Everyday makeup can appear different on different cameras so that's why there's like photo shoot and camera type makeup. Sometimes you can go in with light makeup or you don't have to. Then they'll just touch you up as needed." I explain

"A lot of time goes into modeling" Kayla notes

"Yeah but it pays off. You two should do something today" I look at Kayla and nick, "Just a thought.."

"Maybe" they shrug

As I walk upstairs Nick leaves Kayla in the kitchen and chases after me.

"Bruh okay what's up?" He whispers

"Nothing" I shrug

"Sky" He eyes me

"You two are cute together." I say

"That's what all the looks are about?! You think we're cute together?" He clarifies

I nod, "Pretty much. Don't you like her?"

"Yeah I don't think she's into me though-"

"You guys are cute together and I mean look at you two, you guys clearly like each other I'm not blind." I chuckle

When he doesn't say anything I keep walking upstairs to my room. I open the door and find Adym bundled up in all the sheets, still asleep. Walking past him, I head into the bathroom to wash my face and get dressed. As I wash my face I hear Adym move a bit under all those sheets.

"What time is it?" He groans

"Boutta be 10:30" I reply before brushing my teeth.

"Where are you going?" He yawns

"Gotta shoot in Calabasas" I reply, "You going?"

"Maybe" he pulls the sheets over his head, "When do you leave?"

"In about a half hour" i watch the time

"Are the blinds shut?" He asks

"Yes" I laugh, "It's still not dark enough for you?"

"No" he shakes his head

"So what're your plans for today?" I finish brushing my teeth and begin brushing my hair

"Probably record a YouTube video and finish editing another one." He pulls the sheets back and watches me

"What?" I smile

"Come here" He says

I walk over and he grabs me and pulls me onto the bed next to him. He wraps his arms around me and holds me tightly.

"I miss when you had time to lay in bed and cuddle with me" He kisses my cheek

"We still cuddle" I giggle

"Not really" he mumbles, "only before we go to sleep. I miss when we would just cuddle and watch a movie or lay in bed and cuddle and talk or something."

"Well we've just been really busy. It's not like we're not cuddling anymore for the rest of our lives" I laugh, "Our schedules are just a little filled right now."

"We should take a trip." He rests his head against mine

"Adym I don't know if I can. I gotta talk to my manager and see if I can fit one in. My schedules built around the shoots and the meetings I have and-"

"So in other words you're too busy" he says quietly, "I get it. Your career is just getting started. I was just thinking it could be a small trip.. like maybe go see my family?"

"Adym I didn't mean to sound rude or anything it's just my career is just getting started and I can't help my schedule I-"

Honestly I feel bad now. He has a manager and he was planning on going on tour but he postponed all thoughts and ideas on the tour so we can move in together and he can spend time with me. Now here he is wanting to take A trip to see his family and introduce me and I'm saying I'm too busy..

"It's okay baby. Now isn't the right time since we just moved in and all.." He interrupts

"No you didn't let me finish.. I'll talk to my manager and work everything out so we can plan on seeing your family. That's a great idea.. seeing how my parents know about you and all that I'd love to meet your family." I smile

"Really?" His face lights up

I nod, "Yeah totally. We can use a break"

"Okay" he smiles, "I'll text my family."
