After I arrived at home I immediately headed upstairs to my room to change my outfit. The house was empty as usually. But I bet that if Daniel was here now, my mom would show up again.
I went on my instagram and saw that Corbyn already posted that pic of us. Also he haven't tagged us so I'm pretty sure we can trust him. Thank goodness.

After some time spent with laughing at the comments to that pic, then doing absolutely nothing at all, I got a message from Daniel. Just the sight of the notification put a smile on my face. But when I read it, it shocked me.

I was about to text Daniel back, but I heard a knock on my door so I looked up and saw my mom slowly opening it.
"Hi honey, can I come in?" she asked with a sweet smile on her face.
"Hi, of course." I responded and put my phone down beside me on the bed. She walked closer and sat down next to me. Suddenly the smile disappeared from her face and I got a little bit scared of what she exactly came here for.
"I have to tell you something." she stated and my heart started to beat faster.
Daniel's pov
Jonah wasn't responding and I saw that he's not active either, so I decided to go downstairs and eat something. But when I opened my door, I heard my mom talking to someone down there. Then I heard my dad too. Is she talking about what I think she's talking about? I mean the Marais family?
"I can't watch him suffering.." my mom said and I guess she was lightly crying. Is she just acting right now to make a better impact on him? Or is she actually crying? I don't know. "You don't see how much pain is in his eyes....he's your son too! And you don't even care about him!" she yelled suddenly and I jumped a little bit cause she really did scare me.
"Stop yelling." my dad said calmly. He seems to be absolutely not interested in what my mom is trying to tell him. He's heartless..and cold. Now I know. Unfortunately that means me and Jonah have still very low chances to be together without hiding.
"Why can't you finally understand that what happened, wasn't their fault? You're so stubborn. But you know what? Today I talked with Carrie." she stated.
Carrie? Who is Carrie?
