Chapter 36 : She's Not Your Girl

Maggie's POV,

Waking up in a different room had me confused once more. I looked across and saw Jemima. She was cuddling with Connor on the single bed. We pulled the double apart. I felt so bad,

"Morning you two!" I smiled.

"Morning Maggie!" They say in unison.

"Slept well?" I ask them smirking.

"Yeah, Connor is comfy," Jemima giggles and I soon join in too.

"I know I am," Connor joins in. There's a knock on the door. My heart stops, only because I don't know who it is. What if it's him?

"Come in," Jemima, Connor and I all say at the same time.

"Woah have you guys been practising that? Coz that's groo-vey!!" James says and we all burst out laughing.

"What's for breakfast?" I ask as my tummy grumbles.

"Crossians" James tried a French accent.

"Why thank you," I say poshly, as I fail at accents.

"Oh and by the way, there's not many!" He says. All four of us race down the sets of stairs and sit down at the table, except for me. I have a choice. Sit next to Brad and opposite Rachel. Or sit next to Rachel, and be kind of opposite Brad. I stand there awkwardly and feel all eyes burn into me. I realise only Tris wasn't down, but I guess that's because he's either asleep or doing his hair. Lizzie gets up and sits by Brad. I smile at her and she returns it. I sit next to James and we all start our own conversations. One thing I liked about Lizzie was, that she was able to speak to anyone, she never took a side.

"Why don't we go to the water park?" Tris brings up, breaking everyone's conversations off.

"That's a good idea," I smile.

"I agree, but you have to be ready to get wet!" Lizzie said. We all decided that we would take two taxis. Luckily, nor Brad or Rachel were in mine.

As soon as we finish breakfast, Jemima and I did the dishes.

"It'll be fun," Jemima says as we finish and start walking up the stairs.

"It better!" I giggle and we go to our room. I didn't know what to wear. Leggings? No, they'll go see through. Jeans? They'll stick to me, but it's the best I can do. I pair the black jeans with a black crop top and a black cardigan. I'm rocking out the black today. I add waterproof eye liner and water proof mascara. I put my hair into a fish plait and tie it.

"Where did you go yesterday anyway?" Jemima wonders.

"To my friends, Charlie and Lucy's." I tell her.
"Invite them? We could meet then there?" She offers. That a good idea!

"Yeah! I'll text Charlie!" I beam with excitement.

1 message to Charlie Charls :
Heeeey Charlie! You and Lucy want to join me and my 'gang' for a day at the water park?? We'd love to meet you there ;) xxx

I almost instantly got a reply.

1 message from Charlie Charls :
Of course! Thanks for the invite! We'll be there for 11? Hope that's ok, see you then! *excited* < I love doing those heh ;) xxx

I replied with a simple 'see you, you weirdo! ;)' and told Jemima who then to the others. Apparently Brad was asking loads of questions about Charlie and who he was, and apparently James told him about him.

"Charlieeeeee!" I shouted and ran and hugged him. He returned the shout of my name then hugged me.

"Love to see I'm forgotten!!" Lucy points out.

"Lucccyyyyy!" I shout at her.

"Alright woman I'm next to you! A hug would of been fine!" She laughs and we hug. I introduce everyone. The first ride we go on is called 'feisty falls'. I go into a cart with Charlie, as he isn't scared of heights, or water.

"There's a camera there, Smileeeee!" He shouts as we starts falling down the track.

"Ohh myyy gooood!" I scream and keep my eyes open, because I love the landscape and how it falls. We got off and Charlie brought me a key ring of us looking ridiculous as we were falling down the track.

"For you, and for memories!" He says and I let him attach it to my keys.

Brad's POV,

The rides were fun. I didn't go on many, but the ones I did, were fun. I saw how close Charlie was with Maggie. He kept buying her photos for memories, and she brought him some back. I ruined this. That could of been me and Maggie. I'd be the one buying her key rings and photos.

"You alright bro?" Connor asked. The boys told me that I was a dick, but that we were like brothers, and they didn't want to ruin that. I was thankful to them.

"Look at them," I sighed.

"I know Brad, but James told you their past, maybe it's just friendly? Don't skip to conclusions," he says.

"I want her back Connor, I do, but she doesn't want me," I tell him. I know I'm right. If she did, Maggie would of made an effort already. I hear screaming, I look around and see Charlie and Maggie splashing each other with water, then getting told off by the guard, and as soon as he left, they broke into laughter once more. What can I do?

"Hey Brad," Rachel sits down next to me.

"Hi," I say bluntly.

"James and I spoke, and we agreed to be friends, and not ruin the trip, could we do the same?" Rachel offered.

"Then we won't speak?" I ask her.

"I don't know, we'll have to see how it goes here..." Rachel says.

"What I said yesterday to you, about my feelings, they haven't changed," she adds before she gets up and goes with Lizzie on one of the rides.

"You coming on mate?" Charlie asks.

"Go on then," I say and get up. I sit next to Lucy who is opposite Maggie. I'm sat opposite Charlie. The ride starts and straight away there's a drop, and we all get soaked from the splash. I hate rides like this. I hate rides. I was never a fan of them. Once we got off, Charlie took Maggie by her waist.

"What you doing?" I snapped.

"Woah mate, she's not your girl!" Charlie snaps back.

"Is she yours?" I ask. Maggie rolled her eyes at us and walked off with Lizzie.

"Not yet!" Charlie smirks. "I've always liked her, and now? Well it's my chance Brad, don't ruin it will you?" He added.
