"Boss, Henry and his wife are waiting outside" Paul popped his head through the door

"Send them in" Elijah motioned with his hand, shutting his laptop.

"Hey Elijah" Henry walked in with his wife. He was fascinated by their relationship. They were told different end of poles yet married and in a relationship

"Hi" he looked up to meet Henry's eyes only.

"We came about the new deal. We kind of need the engines for the new cars" Henry explained when they sat down

Elijah glanced at Patricia and back at Henry. "Oh we work in the same company, it's fine"

"Oh"

"That's how we actually met" Henry smiled

Elijah nodded, sitting his chair. "I can't hurry the production of the engines. They are made by men and unfortunately it takes time. My company is prided on quality so I ask for you wait like the initial deal"

"How about we take the deal elsewhere then?" Patricia sneered and Elijah had the perfect opportunity to fire back

"Is that a threat? You can take it elsewhere and people who'll get it done quicker but you won't find efficiency. Mrs Williams, a car is run on it's engine and if the engine is faulty. You are putting lives at risk. So do go ahead" Elijah shrugged. He didn't care. The deal wasn't making him much anyway

"Hey, it's getting tense in here. We didn't mean to offend you Mr MacArthur and I apologise if we did and we are not taking the deal elsewhere " Henry assured, throwing a glance at his wife

"It's fine"

After they left, Paul returned to Elijah's office. "Boss, there's rumors going around" He said, standing with his hands tucked into his pockets

"About?"

"You and Yasmin. You did hug her"

"Her father is ill" Elijah sighed. He reached for his blazer, storming out as Paul followed him behind.

"Gentlemen and Ladies, let me make it very clear. I won't have rumours about me in my own damn office. You are here to work so work, not gossip but now that we are on the topic. This is my business. What I do, when I do it is none of your concern. Do your damn jobs or you are all easily replacable"

"So wait she was consultant and you were her boss" Elijah stated as he and Henry walked through Central Park

Henry returned after they left, picking up his hat that he forget. He then suggested they go on a walk before lunch which Elijah strangely agreed to

"Yes"

"Tell me you haven't had a little fun with someone from your office" Henry smirked. After his latest rumours going around about him, he wouldn't think of it

"I haven't. I kept it purely business" Elijah shrugged. "And as you saw most of my staff are male and I'm not gay"

"Say the one works at your office then what?" Henry asked

"I'd fire her" Elijah replied without hesitation

"What? Why?" Henry seemed alarmed

"Because business and pleasure don't mix. When you think with your heart in business, you'll lose out but when you think with your mind you'll win. I'd meet her outside my business."

"Interesting"

"That's who I am" Elijah shrugged. Henry was different to the other men he had done business with and he enjoyed his presence. He glanced at his watch, realizing it was nearly 1 and time for his family lunch
