"What do we have next?" Jedayel asked.
"Why don't you take your timetable out of your bag and see what we have next? No rocket science equation done there," Megan huffed.
"Why don't you do that?"
"Because I didn't ask!" Megan said agitatedly.
"English," I said abruptly, both of them stared at me blankly, "We have English next!" I clarified.
"Ohhh," Jedayel said
"Oh shoot," Megan said slowly.
"What's wrong Meg?" I asked
"Oh shoot Ameerah," She said again slowly, "I didn't do the English assignment!"
"Am I the only good one here?" I joked, taking out my English paper and handed it to her.
"You sure?" She asked worried,
"Sure I'm sure," I smiled, "Just don't copy it word for word,"
"Oh Ameerah you're a lifesaver, love you!" She exclaimed hugging me, then picked up her bag and headed off to the library.
"Oh Ameerah your a lifesaver," Jedayel imitated her.
"Shutup," I said failing to control my laugh.
After we finished eating, I headed to my locker to get my English books.
"Hi Ameerah," I heard a soft squeak. I moved my locker door slightly and saw it was Shy Shauna, well that's what every one called her, she was reaalllyy shy!
"Hey Shauna," I replied. "How's it going?"
"It's going good," She smiled.
"Did you do the English assignment?" I asked trying to make conversation.
"Yes," She said, "Did you?"
"Yeah," I nodded.
"Can I read it?" She asked.
"Maybe in class," I said, "Meg's using it now,"
"She didn't do it?"
"She was busy," I covered up.
"At the beach?" Shauna asked confused.
"What?"
"She was at the beach yesterday with Rob," Shauna said.
The color drained from my face, Shauna saw this,
"You didn't know?" She asked softly,
"Are you sure?" I croaked.
Shauna nodded, "I may not talk much but you know my eyesight is the best,"
She was right, she had eagle eyesight.
"Sorry Shauna, I got to go," I choked back tears trying hard to be calm.
