"So hey, um Tsubasa was it?" Cress called out to me.

"Yeah, that's right."

"Sorry about my friend, he can be a, bit, high strung," Cress' voice trailed off.

"Yeah is he always like that?"

"Not usually, its he doesn't like seeing people in trouble"

That's almost an admission something happened to him. "I see."

"Try not to hold it against him," Cress said with a smile "So anyways like I said my name is Cress, I was thinking it's just you two right? We're kind of in dire need of party members. Would you two care to join us?"

"Well That's, um-"

"Why should we," Xuelian said aloud, she was glaring at Rhuphas, who was busy picking loot up off the ground.

Cress glanced at Rhuphas, he looked really frustrated, I get the impression he's done something like this before.

"Well I can't change your mind, however we're really desperate for help. What do you say?"

"Cress, we don't need help from someone how can't realize when he's in over his head." Rhuphas said aloud.

"Stop talking bad about Tsubasa!" Xuelian shouted at Rhuphas.

"Rhuphas, calm down!"
