Chapter 325: Victory

Xuelian and I looked at Saiko who was laughing loudly. We watched Saiko stand up and took a few steps toward us, he then extended a hand towards us.

"Congratulations on your victory, well played," Saiko said with a bright smile. It was odd, Saiko's tone of voice was drastically different, it wasn't condescending, it sounded sincere and friendly.

Even Malies had approached us offering us a friendly handshake.

After a brief conversation, Saiko explained that he was testing us, he wanted to see why it was that Yuwanyx and Phenyone had given up.

After we stayed to watch the next fight, one of which would be our opponents in the last fight in this block. One team had used an interesting wewpons - dual wielded Pistols and Daggers - had «Bleed» and «Poison» effects applied to them. They took down their opponents not by powerful attacks, but by small attacks that bleed out and poisoned their opponents - Death by a Thousand cuts.

What was more interesting was the fact that one of them, Maerikhon was never hit once throughout the fight.

After the watching the fight we went through our evening routine, before bidding each other good night.
