Chapter 320: Different Approach

Suddenly Xuelian ran in front of me blocking me.

"Tsubasa, wait a Second," She said staring them down.

"Xuelian what is it?" I said.

"Tsubasa somethings off, be careful," Xuelian replied.

"Well, what's the hold up?" Saiko said, "if your not going to attack, I will."

Saiko immediately charged at us, knife in hand.

From behind him Malies fired off a bolt of energy, a magical basic attack. The attack was aimed at Xuelian.

The attack was meant to separate us. Without missing a beat Malies took off toward, Xuelian.

Saiko had slashed at me with his knife, though like Xuelian had said something was off. His movements were light, aloof, slow, off balanced, and disjointed.

Each time he would go for an attack he would dance around me, or duck through me following up with an attack.

Every time I strike he would duck, dodge, or block in very weird angles. It was difficult to get any attack on him.

There was something to his attacks. There was some sense of familiarity to it but I couldn't place my finger on it.

"Tsubasa!" Xuelian called out to me, while blocking Malies attacks, "I recognize that style!"
