Chapter 297: Round 1, Begin!

Our match was the first one of the day.

Fifteen minutes before the match walked out into the ring. I looked around, the crowd was going wild, cheering for both us and our opponents.

I felt tense from just looking at the crowd.

I then felt a hand grab mine.

I looked over at Xuelian, she smiled at me, "Tsubasa Try and relax, take deep breaths. It will be okay, don't worry; just have fun."

I breathed in deeply, "Yeah, thanks Xuelian."

I was still nervous but I felt calmer.

On the other side of the ring, our opponents stepped up. I felt my body shake, it felt hard to breath, and my heart was racing.

Our opponents called out to us.

"Hey, let's have fun out there, win or lose. Good luck."

"Same to you," Xuelian replied.

"Yeah, good luck," I replied.

The then announcer introduced us to the crowd.

A moment later we received a challenge notification; a five minute [Half-Strike Duel]. We accepted the challenge, and a one minute count down began.

We each readied our weapons.

Ten seconds before the match began the announcer spoke up, "Players are you ready? 3, 2, 1. . . begin!"
