Without a second thought, Sevosmai plunged his knife into Xuelian's stomach, and pushed her forward. I rushed out to catch her, only to see Sevosmai shoot her in the back as she fell.
I caught Xuelian who could barely speak because of the pain. Everything went dull I couldn't hear anything except Xuelian's ragged breaths, Sevosmai's words, and my own heart beat.
Xuelian had suffered a critical hit from taking a knife in the stomach. The bullet that went through her back at such a close range should have registered as a critical hit as well, however to prevent players from creating instances of taking multiple «Critical Hits», additional «Critical Hits» are registered as extra damage; this effect ends ten seconds after the last «Critical Hit» is registered.
The two attacks by Sevosmai, and the damage she had taken from Maerikhon, caused Xuelian's «Health» had dropped to fifty percent.
