Chapter 301: Self Defeating Behavior

After walking into the rest area, I promptly left, heading out of the Arena and out of the city into the wilds.

Due to the rules of the tournament participants were prohibited from leveling or classing up, however I needed to blow off some steam so I spent half of the day just killing monsters.

I wasn't angry at Xuelian for saving me, nor the fact she did most of the work. I was angry at myself, I was angry because I couldn't do anything.

I hate relying on others, I hated making mistakes, most of all I hated my powerless, and that my powerlessness was bringing others down with me.

"Why, why am I so weak!" I screamed at myself, slashing through the monsters knowing there would be no reply nor would the answer just come to me.

All I was left with was the feeling of frustration, pain, and sorrow.

It was about mid-day before I returned.

As I walked up through the gate I saw Xuelian sitting on the ground, she looked like she was mediation.

She looked at me, got up and rushed over to me.

"Tsubasa, are you okay now?"

"Yeah, I am."
