After the announcement of the tournament, the month had passed by quickly. Xuelian and I spent the first three weeks out in the wilds hunting down monsters, completing quests and clearing dungeons to level up and upgrade our gear as much as possible.
Xuelian had quickly managed to progress to the max level of 50 as a [Heroine] and then changed her class to [Martial Artist] then to [Dervish].
The [Dervish] class was more about speed stringing together attacks that while somewhat weak can add up quickly, while using [Artes] to «Debuffs», such as «Attack Down», «Defense Down», «Speed Down», «Fear», and «Stun» weaken opponents.
As for myself I advanced from [Swordsman] to [Solider] and then to [Mercenary].
The [solider] class was all about using swords, and Guns to attack at close and medium ranges. The [Mercenary] class used powerful hits, and shots to apply «Debuffs»; such as «Stun», «Confusion», «Blind» and «Cripple».
By the third week we both hit the max level of 50, and upgraded our equipment as much as we could.
The last we spend with Cyrus, and Leilianna in practice matches to prepare as much as we could for the tournament.
