Chapter 283: The Beast of Many Eyes

"So the guide says the Kutabe spawns near here. At night. It also says they appear infrequently."

"I see."

All of this together meant we would a difficult search on our hands. We could only hope that many of the other players were having a difficult time as well.

We decided to wait in the outpost until night fell. Walking around the area, we searched for about an hour.

"Tsubasa, over there!" Xuelian called to me pointing to a nearby rock formation.

There was the Kutabe, the monster looked just like how the guide described it. We approached it only to draw aggro against us. The beast hunched down rearing to attack. One eye appeared on its chest. We both received an movement speed debuff.

The beast dashed into attack. Xuelian then ran into guard against attack and draw its attention. Grabbing the bull by the horns so to speak.

I dashed around to attack only to be meet by another eye and another rebuff to my attack speed. I went in for the attack getting a few hits in before receiving a kick to the chest from its hindlegs that sent me to the ground.
