Within the game classes can be defined by roles and styles.

All classes fall under several categories based on the damage type whether: [strike «artes»] to [strength], [pierce «artes»] to [dexterity], [magic «artes»] to [intelligence], and [spiritual «artes»] to [spirit].

Classes, however, are mostly defined by their role in combat either as: «attacking», «defensive», «healing», and «supportive».

Classes are further defined by their abilities as: «DpS» [damage per second], «BD» [burst damage], or «DoT» [damage over time]. «Pulling», «pushing», «tanking», or «walling». «Buffing», «debuffing» and «SI» [status infliction], «SC» [status clearing/curing]. «HpS» [healing per second], «BH» [burst healing], or «HoT» [healing over time].

Classes are defined by its attack range: «R-C» [close range], «R-M» [mid-range] or «R-L» [long range].

Classes are also be defined by it damage range: «DD/E» [direct damage or effect], or «AoE» [area of effect].

Classes also have an attacking style whether: «Melee» [basic attack] vs «arte» [special attack] focused.

Varying widely among classes is the length of time to, cast, recast, or the duration of an «arte»: «CD» [cool down], «CT» [cast time], «DR» [duration], which is either set at: «low» [instant to 10s], «medium» [15 to 30s], «high» [45 to 90s], «ultra-high» [100 to 300s].
