Chapter 224: Light in the Shadows

After we had defeated the [hobgoblin] and the few remaining [goblins] I got a prompt that read.

{Quest – Crystal Guardian: Cleared.}

Then I received another pop up with a bunch of materials for forging, some among them were [rare] and [fantasy] class items.

Suddenly from the fountain in the center of the town, the large crystal that was previously floating over the fountain was now laying in the fountain and completely pitch black. Suddenly the crystal began to shine as if it sprung to life. The crystal slowly flickered growing brighter and brighter till it began to float upward.

The light from the crystal began to push the dark mist back out of the town.

I was at the time thinking this was some kind of event when I heard a large door slowly creak open from behind us.

I turned around to see a man dressed in priest or pastoral clothing. Above the man was a «!».

After speaking with him, the man introduced himself as Morgan, the town's minister, and sanctuary steward.
