Chapter 230: Go for the Gold

The «attack patterns» didn't change, but the frequency of the attacks increased. On the plus side the damage of each individual attack decreased.

I had a theory that the more players were in your party the more clones would appear. Though it was impossible to know without any other party members.

However, even with the clones we made short work of its remaining health.

After the fight we sat down from the battle tired and exhausted. Our «health» at about thirty percent.

For our trouble we received the item [Core of the Hybrid], money, and several crafting items.

After the fight, my eyes were drawn to the flame above the pool of water, that upon closer inspection looked to be sort of hive on fire.

After looking at it for a few moments I noticed something dripping down from the hive like object into the water below. Walking up I noticed that the shimmering I saw was not actually the reflection of the water but something in the water.

Leaning in I fished out what it was revealing an item called [Arnyvalkae's Gold].

After picking up the item I received a prompt notifying me that the quest was complete.
