Chapter 299: Reversal

My opponent was holding two bearded axes. As I went to attack he held the axe up so that my knife fell into the hook of the axe.

Twisting my blade around he forced it from my hand and threw it to the ground; luckily for me it hadn't landed outside the ring.

Smirking he used his axes to go on the offensive attacking continually, leaving me no time to defend myself or counter in anyway.

I managed to slip away behind him and grab my sword. The movement I picked up my sword he was already baring down on me I managed to keep him off balance by using a pistol in my other hand.

Though I held him back he blocked several of my shots and was slowly inching toward me. In a short span of time he was on top of me. Each sing threw me off balance before he hooked my legs with his axes, and caused me to fall to the ground.

With his axe held high above him he repeatly smashed the blade down on top of me.

The only thing stopping the blade from cutting into me was the sword in my hand.
