Chapter 370: Scouting Ahead

For most of the day Xuelian and I wandered around hunting.

"Hey Xuelian you see that up ahead, is that a [hidden path]?"

"Yeah I see it, looks like it. Should we take a look?"

"Yeah."

We walked toward a break in the tree line. It looked to be a [hidden path] an invisible, and blocked area that only becomes accessible after a player's «Insight» is high enough. As long as at least one party member's «Insight» is high enough the path becomes available to everyone.

[Hidden paths] are random in nature leading to either new short cuts, treasures, or in some cases new dungeons.

"Tsubasa we should just scout out the area, let's take it slow."

"Yeah, you're right."

We moved around the corners of the pathway trying to see what was ahead. The sharp turns and weaving path made it difficult to survey the area.

Around a corner there was a wide open area.

"Hey Xuelian we should get out of here, now!"

"Hey Tsubasa, where did the path go?"

"Oh no!"

Along with possibly finding treasures, secret dungeons or short cuts, there is one other thing you could end up finding.

"We're in [Monster House]!"
