Chapter 17:I'm Back!

1:34 am at hospital~

Marci's POV
I can't sleep.... I've been awake all day, just because of what the doctor said. Maybe it's time to t-to let him go... what kind of friend am I? Is this the real me? Nononono... NO! Marci! You shouldn't lose hope. I look at comet still asleep, His breathing sent large goosebumps all over my spine "It's seem that this is your last day on earth, comet" I stared at him then cried again. I held his hands tight but still his hands remain cold. After a long part of crying, I fell asleep. Leaving my hands on top of his hand.

7:56 am at the hospital~

I woke up by the sound of Jack "Marci... Marci. Wake up, sleepy head" I groan after that I slowly opened my eyes to see My parents, comet's parents, Jonnathan and even Horsehead and Jack, Who is beside me. I recover my poster then ask them "Ummm, Hey guys, *yawn* what you doing here?" Their faces were disappointed and comet's mother was crying even horsehead is tearing up. I then look at Jack whose face was all sad and answered to my Question "*Inhale* *Exhale* We are here to see comet's final breath to be taken" My eyes shoot wide. I looked at my parents "Mom, what is this all about?" My mom look at me, all sad "Mrs and Mr Dragonfly finally agreed to the doctor that they agreed to let co-comet... die. It's been years and he still hasn't woke up"  One doctor came in, They moved away to give some space for the doctor. The same doctor who told me some terriflying words "Miss, I need you to step away from the patient. It will end quickly if you mustn't interfere" The doctor closed in but I stood up and blocked him "You better keep your hands off him! STAY BACK!" I yell at him. He sighed. He went to Jack and Jonnathan. He then whispered some words to them. Jonnathan look down on the floor while he balls up his hands into knuckles. Jack closed his eyes and nodded to the doctor. The doctor put his hands on Jack's shoulder while facing me "Go... Doctors orders" Jack went towards me as Jonnathan followed. Jack Kneeled and whisper underneath my ears "Forgive Us, Marci... I'm such a bad boyfriend" He quickly held my left arm while Jonnathan helped Jack by holding my right arm. They dragged me away from comet's bed as the doctor went to him slowly "Why are you doing! LET. ME. GO! You call yourself friends of comet?!" I yelled as I tried to break free "We are friends! But as his friends... We wouldn't want him To suffer too long" Jonnathan yelled. I teared up. I look at Jack "Jack, do comet even wanted this to happen?" I asked. He replied while he avoided me "I-I don't know anymore..." He whispered. I yelled at them again and I'm twice as mad "I won't forgive you! All of you!" I yelled and yelled until my voice was gone then I eventually lost my strength and stop struggling. I look desperately at the doctor as he pulled the plug. The monitor went off  with a

*Beep

*Beep

*Beep. . .

*Beeeeeeeeeeep. . .

so as comet's oxygen tank. Comet's breathing slows down then stopped. . .

The room went silent as the doctor went to comet's parents "You made a brave choice Mr and Mrs Dragonfly. Now excuse me, I have another patient to attend to" The doctor left the parents and was gone. Both parents of comet and my parents were crying. Jack and Jonnathan released me into the ground As I quickly got up and ran towards comet. Jack was suppose to follow me but stopped by the parents of comet. I collapsed on the bedside on comet then told them in between my sobbing "Leave *sob* me alone" All of them agreed then leaved both me and comet's lifeless body. Silence fill the room up and sobs were only can be heard. I started to sing comet's favorite song.

I was being cut off by the voice of my favorite person and My only bestfriend in the wide world "Comet!" I hug him tight quickly and It was more like Jumping on him then he hug me back anyway. I was crying while the weak comet was comforting me. I cried and cried until I lessen my sobs "You alright? Safe kid... Hehehe" He chuckled and used my annoying nickname but when It comes to comet saying it. It was alright, It doesn't even affects me. I chuckled right back at him then I punched him lightly. He then hug me by suprise and My face was on his chest "You don't know how much I always wanted to hug you ever since I pass out" I blush so hard and yet I replied "AND you don't know how much I wanted to cook cookies for you" He laugh lightly, still hugging me "Yeah, I miss those cookies" He pat my head. Giving me the signal that His alright and stop crying. Oh shoot! He knows that I'm crying silently... Oh, It's obvious because I am close in his ear and my body was trembling Man, His good at observing. He broke the hug then he used his finger to wipe my tear away and cupped my cheeks "I was lost until I met you..." I blushed by his words while tears flows down on my cheeks. I held his hands on my cheeks then smiled at him "Are you trying to flirt on your the first day?" He blushed and before he could say a word, The door slammed open and reviling an embarrassing situation we are in. We quickly removed ourself to each other and both of us were blushing so hard. I look at them and They were so happy to see comet again. They all hugged him making him suffocate "Marci! Help me! I can't breath. They are hugging me too much" He asked me for help but I ignore him "Then Let me make it even worse" I hug him tighter making him suffocate even more. I whisper to him "Welcome back comet" Then he replied "I'm back! Marci"
