Adam's POV
It was the exactly 5:00AM in the morning and I was ready to set off to the concert. The concert is tomorrow but if we wanted to get there in time, we had to set off now. It was still dark outside but extremely cold too.
I was outside Nicole's house and I knocked on her door. Seconds later, she opened the door and she came out with a large handbag that she put in the back of my car. She looked extremely tired but still looked gorgeous.
"I've got clothes, shoes and other stuff I'll need in the bag," she said, before yawning.
She went back to the house and came out and sat in the car. I started the engine and that's where our journey begins. I put the heater on to warm us up and I turned the radio on.
She wrapped herself up in a blanket and gave me one.
"Where do you get these from?" I asked.
"I went back to the house to get them," she said, groggily.
She snuggled into the blanket and fell asleep straight away. She looked so relaxed and gorgeous. I continued driving.
It was currently 9:00AM and Nicole began to wake up. She stretched and she smiled at me.
"You look tired," she said to me.
"What do you expect? I've been driving for hours," I said, making her chuckle.
"I need the toilet," she said.
"We'll go to the service station, it's just a few minutes away," I said.
We arrived at the service station and I drove in. Nicole went to the toilets whilst I bought some breakfast from the McDonald's that they had here. I bought two toasts with hash browns and coffee for Nicole and me. I hate coffee but I need the energy because I actually feel so tired.
I went back to the car and Nicole shortly came. I buttered the toast with the butter they provided, using the plastic knife. I placed the still hot hash brown onto the toast and gave it to Nicole. I did the same again and started to eat the toast with the hash brown.
We ate it and I began to drink the horrendous coffee. It was absolutely disgusting. Nicole sensed that I didn't like it which made her laugh.
"Why are you drinking coffee when you hate it?" She asked.
"Do you want me to fall asleep when I'm driving? That way you'll never see Ed Sheeran," I said to her.
"Good point," she said,
I started the engine after I finished the coffee and continued driving. We sang along to the music on the radio, screaming out the lyrics which made us laugh. She opened the windows and waved at all the drivers we went passed, their faces were bloody hilarious. I beeped at all the drivers that were driving slowly in front of me because Nicole was complaining that we wouldn't get there on time. Let's just say that the car journey was pretty hectic but it was the best time I've ever had.
We were just 30 minutes away from where the concert was and I decided to go to a service station first. I bought 2 burgers and 2 drinks for lunch whilst Nicole went and changed into different clothes. I ate my burger in the car, waiting for Nicole to come back.
She came back later with her hair down, makeup on and she changed into a dress. She looked stunning and she sat in the car and ate her burger.
When we arrived at the concert, I parked up and we went inside. I got us a place that was at the front and we stood there whilst the whole place filled up with thousands of people. Nicole looked extremely excited and I smiled at the sight. I love seeing her happy.
Ed came onto the stage 20 minutes later and sung his first song which was 'The A team'. The whole audience sang along with him and Nicole was chanting out the lyrics with me. After 7 more songs that he sang, he sang his last song of the night. It was called 'Perfect' and he sang it and thanked everyone for coming.
"Wasn't that just perfect?" I said, ironically to her.
"Yeah, it sure was," she said.
Everyone began to leave the concert and me and Nicole went to the car.
"I'm just going to go to the toilet," she said. She went to the toilet whilst I waited in the car.
You know what, I don't even like Ed Sheeran. I just pretended for her. I made her happy and that's all that matters.
I rested my eyes and let myself fall asleep in the car.
