Everyone's running from something but we don't know when it's coming...

~Chapter 37~ Maud

"You mean my sister?" She said confused.

"Yeah, I mean Rose." I replied.

"Danny, you can say a lot of things about her, that she's sweet and caring and stuff like that, but, she's not really good looking. I mean she's really short, messy hair and she hasn't really a model figure either." 

"No. She's beautiful and it's cute that she's short, I love her hair and she has a figure to die for." I said getting really irritated by now. Rose had told me that she could be a bitch sometimes but I didn't expect her to be like this.

"Whatever." She said rolling her eyes.

"I think I should go now. I've got to go to work." She said standing up.

"Okay." I said standing up with her, relieved that she was finally going. I walked with her to the door where she bend down to grab her bag, but because of her really short skirt she exposed her whole butt. I quickly looked away disgusted by her slut behavior. She stood up again and put her coat back on. I opened the door and she walked up to me and gave me a wet kiss on my cheek.

"It was nice to meet you Danny. See you next time." She said smiling.

"Yeah... See you next time..." I mumbled in reply and opened the door. She walked out and I quickly closed the door behind her before she could turn around to say something else. 

I walked back to the living room and put the empty cups away. You could in less than a second see which one was from Maud cause the red lipstick was all over the cup. I put them in the dishwasher and decided to go for a walk with Skyler. I put my shoes and coat on and walked to Skyler to put her lead on. I opened the door and walked outside to the park. I couldn't get that Maud girl of my mind, I mean, Rose and her didn't have any contact for god knows how many years and now suddenly she's here again to come and 'meet me.' I decided to take my time to walk with Skyler to clear my mind and I didn't really have something better to do. 

After about two hours Skyler was getting tired so I decided that it was time to get back home again. On our way home I stopped by the supermarket to get the groceries. When I got everything I paid for it and continued my way back home. 

When we arrived back home I opened the door and Skyler quickly ran in and lied down on the couch and fell asleep. I laughed at her and put the groceries away. When everything was away and sat down at the piano and just played a random song. I don't know how, but I ended up playing 'make you feel my love' by adele.

When I finished I felt two arms wrap around my waist and a head rest on my shoulder.

"That was beautiful babe." Rose said smiling at me when I turned around. 

"You are beautiful." I said winking at her and gave her a light kiss on her lips.

"And you're very handsome. And sexy, don't forget sexy." She replied sitting down on my lap.

"How was work?" I asked as I wrapped my arms around her.

"It was okay, very busy. How was your day?" She asked playing with my hair. I decided to tell her about her sis who came here today, cause she has the right to know.

"Well it was great. Apart from one thing, I heard the doorbell this morning so I went to open it and there stood a girl who said that she was your sister and she wanted to meet me so I let her in, and it was very awkward." I confessed.

"Oh.. What did she do?" She asked looking at me.

"Not much it was just really awkward." I replied.

"Did she... Did she try to, you know, hook up with you?" She asked looking down at her hands.

"She was a little bit close. Why?" I asked her and put my fingers under her chin forcing her to look at me.

"She always does that. Always when we were younger and I had a boyfriend she came around and got them wrapped around her finger, cause she has boobs and shit like that and then they left me and went with her." She said looking away.

"Babe, look at me." I said turning her head again.

"I'll never leave you, and certainly not for you sister. I love you more that life itself and I have no idea how I've lived all those years without you."

"And, don't doubt your boobs. They're amazing." I added smiling at her.

"I love you." She said kissing me lightly.

"I love you too." I said when we broke apart.

She stood up from my lap and went to the kitchen to prepare our dinner while I began to set the table. When dinner was finished we sat down at the table and ate in comfortable silence.

When we were finished I put everything in the dishwasher while Rose went for a shower. When everything was in the dishwasher I went to the living room and turned the tv on. I saw that there was a football match, Liverpool - Manchester United, so I sat down on the couch and decided to watch. After a few minutes Rose came walking in in shorts and one of my shirts. She walked over to me and curled up to me on the couch. I wrapped my arms around her and rested my head on hers.
